The buns here are pretty good, especially the xiaolongbao — they’re very juicy and flavorful. The saliva chicken was served a bit cold, but I’d recommend adding some of the chili oil on the table to enhance the flavor. The crispy chicken came with a sweet and sour sauce; it would be even better if basil leaves were added for more aroma and a nicer presentation. The roujiamo contains green peppers and onions — the onions are slightly spicy, so it would be nice to have an option to choose whether to add them when ordering. Overall, the food tastes good, and the buns are also very cute!

I travel a lot for work, and I’m so glad I came across this gem called Bun World! The place is super cute, the vibes are great, and the service is AMAZING. Every single staff member I interacted with was friendly and welcoming.
I came on a Sunday, and yes, it was really busy, so I had to wait a bit. But honestly, the wait was worth it. The food is incredibly delicious! I ordered a ton of different items, and everything was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Prices are super reasonable too, so come hungry!
If you’re in the area, you HAVE to check this place out. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

This is a perfectly fine bun eatery for people who don’t eat Chinese food on a regular basis. We tried its regular xiaolongbaos and the combination grilled buns. The curry buns were a non-traditional offering and had an interesting taste, but they tasted fine. Both dishes tasted fine with the following caveats: the pork was a bit on the lean side, which meant there was less soupier in the buns, the xiaolongbaos were not served with the traditional condiment of ginger, we used the minced garlic from its self serve sauce bar, and finally the prices are a bit high for what you get (say compared to Rowland Heights area restaurants). There wasn’t much service here. The servers never showed up again after our food and utensils were served. Towards the end of our meal, I developed a mild allergic reaction to an additive, perhaps MSG? So, you may want to ask about additives if you have an allergy.
Final note, we didn’t try its novelty buns, which were the sweet ones that look like cartoon characters. Most other patrons ordered them. It was an excellent concept, and should be popular with kids and young adults. This eatery earned a 4* for making a good effort to popularize Chinese buns to the Inland Empire and for its creativity on the sweet buns.

If you’re craving dumplings and buns with a fun, modern vibe, Bun World is a solid stop. The dumplings are juicy and satisfying—especially the pan-fried ones with their crispy golden bottoms—while the steamed buns are soft, fluffy, and generously filled. It’s not ultra-traditional dim sum, but it doesn’t try to be; it leans into playful presentation and crowd-pleasing flavors. Overall, it’s a tasty, casual spot that hits the comfort-food craving and makes for a fun meal out.

What a delightful place, the customer service was very friendly. My husband and I visited this place on a Wednesday evening and we enjoyed the flavors. Our favorite dish were the juuuuuicy boa & dumplings. We really liked the chinese hamburger and crunchy tender popcorn chicken too! We ordered 5 dishes to share and spent about $50. We skipped the drink options and went with the free lemon water which was very nice. One thing I hate about free water is it tasting like the sink lol. The fried steamed buns were ok. Definitely will come back to enjoy the food again and again.

This place hits the spot for a dumping craving. Would like a re-visit to try more on the menu.
We seated ourselves. Scanned a QR code on the table for the menu and web base ordering.
Some dishes came out pretty quick. The Pikachu chicken sandwich was surprisingly good. It feel like a healthier McChicken option. LoL
Lot of good flavors in the buns.

Fun buns and good food. We loved the pork dumplings and the Chicken Sandwich that looks like Pikachu. And of course we had to try the chocolate bear buns and the sweet taro hello kitty buns.

Was excited to try the xiao long bao and shrimp fried rice. Maybe it would be similar to DTF but sadly it’s not the same. The fried rice was just rice cooked with frozen carrots and peas with some small shrimp. Sorry but but using frozen vegetables for the fried rice doesn’t give the same taste. The xiao long bao was average. Not bad but also had better.

So the food was excellent, everything was juicy, and perfectly flavored. The only negative was the wait. We came on a Sunday afternoon and it was an hour and half wait and then another 20mins for food. But I thought their system was fair, you go in write you name down and even if you aren’t there when called they will still prioritize you if you were skipped and come back. Would definitely go again but probably earlier in day.

Had the Character Buns and were great, the buns were bigger than most places. Service was awesome. Would like to minus a star because they were out of most characters but the ones they had and their services were great
