Service for the 8 of us was sweet as we arrived for an early breakfast. Not only did my order of Everything’s Omelete (with hash browns and toast) and coffee satisfying, but our drinks were filled without asking. I felt we were looked after and seen (maybe I need to get out more); regardless if it’s part of the job, attitude is everything.

Some places are pieces of time. Where the food is always good and friendly faces line the halls. A warm bite of a cinnamon roll and you’ll forget all your worries. Brownie’s keeps it simple, and that’s a good thing. Have a cup a coffee, stay a while, and enjoy it.

I went in and sat at the counter. The wait staff were very welcoming and attentive. Excellent service. The food was delicious if a little expensive for me personally. The portions are also great. Overall a wonderful experience! Recommend both the coffee and the chicken fried steak.

Food was okay, a little oily tasting mostly on the hash browns. Also my tortilla’s were not patted free of the fried grease so it leaked to my whole plate for an unfortunate tasting experience. Eggs perfectly cooked, coffee was mediocre, I had to cream it up, usually I like to taste it, no frills, but today was not the case. They did have a tasty homemade tortilla tho. And the staff were kind, attentive for as busy as they were.

I ordered the Carne Asada plate. It was the smallest Mexican plate I’ve ever been served. The meat taste like dirty skillet,onions. It was very small dry cut up meet survived with a pinch of beans and a spoonful of rice and on the side was a quarter size cup of red juice they call salsa. The two palm size flour tortilla were hard as a rock was not able to eat them. My mother ordered the hot roast beef sandwich. It came on a old hard French roll. The meat was so tough and dry she could not eat it but tried. She’s 77 and has good teeth. Lol.. She ordered potato salad as a side and fries came instead. Her sandwich was served with nothing a little bit of cut up meat and cold melted cheese over the top of the meat. It was not like any roast beef sandwich I’ve ever seen before.

Awesome service, good food! Clean restaurant, had chicken fried steak that was cooked great! Waitress was great her recommendation was spot on. I will be dining again when back in town.
