My wife and I went for dinner. We were very pleased with our meals was absolutely amazing. 8oz filet and 16oz peppercorn ribeye were on point. Service was amazing and worth every single penny.

Everything we ordered was home made and fresh. I wouldn’t be surprised if they made their own butter. I had the full rack of lamb and they were the most tender I’ve ever had… anywhere. No lie. This place is a bit pricey but worth every penny. Can’t recommend it enough. Staff is super friendly.

We had an amazing family dinner here this summer, and although we have been near here every summer for decades we had never been. We had cheese curds, walleye fingers, soup, salads, steak, fish fry, crab legs, and salmon. Everyone said their food was amazing! The homemade soup that day was one of the best I’d ever had (and my kid said the same ) Thank you for giving us a fun Friday night with family memories, and a new place to look forward to eating in the Northwoods!

Great little hidden gem! Family owned restaurant with amazing food! Dont go if you’re in a rush. The wild rice soup was the best ive had in a long time! The salmon was cooked to perfection and the walleye had the perfect crunch! Everyone is so friendly and had so much pride in what they did! Thank you all so much and cant wait to see you all again!!!

A hidden gem, for sure! We were out for a drive and stumbled upon this place. We initially were going to have a quick appetizer and keep driving, but their menu looked too good to pass up. I indulged in a Key Lime Martini which tasted like dessert. Then had a side salad with their Honey Basalmic Glazed Salmon and (must have) shrimp. My boyfriend had their meat lovers pizza. We both loved the service, atmosphere, and food. Prices were also very reasonable. Will definitely be back!

A surprise lunch place. The Walleye app was lightly coated and fried. With a homemade tartar sauce. It was delicious. I had a garden salad to go with it; with chipotle ranch dressing (also home made). My husband had a BLT that was a solid 5– and look at those homemade fries! No out of the freezer. Lots of bottled beer to choose from. Can’t wait to return for dinner. There’s a campfire old fashioned calling my name.

Mussels and clams appetizer for the table. My husband was skeptical about ordering mussels for appetizers but at the end he loved it anyways. They all have good flavors.
Most of us ordered walleye dinner special for that day. All the different flavors was to the liking of every each of us who ordered different spices. The tartar sauce was really good and it did complimented with the walleye. The rice had good flavor but it was a bit too wet. My mom ordered Reuben sandwich and she loved it. The fries needed a little more frying as she stated but it has good flavor as well.
We all ordered cocktails and everything was great and had ample amount of alcohol in it.
Service was great, our server was very attentive to us and provided us a good service for 10 people. She was great in suggestive selling.
The ambience on the place was cool, it did fit the cabin look inside and outside. Place was pack when we came and needed us to wait to sit 10 people. The air conditioning system wasnt working that made it a little too warm with so much people in there.
Overall, we agreed we’ll definitely visit it again when were up in the area.

Always an excellent experience! Cocktails are fantastic — smoked Old Fashioned is a favorite. Potstickers are the perfect start, and dinners never disappoint: the honey balsamic glazed salmon with salad and roasted asparagus was amazing, the Friday fish fry walleye with rice pilaf was spot-on, and even the crab we added to share was outstanding.
Service is quick and friendly, and everything tastes deliciously homemade. We also love the personal touch from the owners’ daughter — she brings a little extra joy to each visit.

Great bar and restaurant tucked into the North woods. If you want great service and some high end, tasty food, this is the place to go. We tried the salmon with house salad and wild rice soup – Excellent! Lots of exposed logs and wood paneling. The Homemade pizza also looks good. The walnut brownie in a little skillet with ice cream was awesome.

Visited 10/4/2025. Three out of our four dinners were delicious and well prepared. The fourth dinner, a ribeye, was over cooked. When the server was informed, she told us they were too busy to cook another steak (?!) and said that if we weren’t happy with it they would take it off the bill. When paying the bill, the steak was not removed from the tab. When we pointed it out, she asked how much of the steak was eaten…making it seem as though the person who ordered the steak should have just gone without eating. Obviously our plates had been cleared from the table at that point, but I told her less than half the steak was eaten and we were offered a to-go box that we refused. Our server was one of the owners and while efficient, her manner was brusque. It was clear she didn’t want to comp the meal but when we pointed out again that the steak wasn’t cooked properly and we were told no replacement could be offered, she reluctantly agreed to take it off the bill. What could have been a really nice meal left a bitter aftertaste!
