Me, my husband and sometimes friends have been to Stamson’s a lot in the past. But over a period of time it seems the wait time has gotten longer and then when we do get our food we have to asked several times for missing items or we just leave without receiving them at all. It seems as though they do not have enough waitresses. This last time we were there, Sunday, two tables were seated after us, but yet they put in their order and received their food and was eating before us. Then by the time they got to our order they had to come back and say they were out of two different foods on the menu. They seem to run out of food often, and our church is just down the road, so we get there about 15 after 12. Some of our friends will no longer eat there because of that fact. I hate this because Greenville needs good restaurants with good food. We are not too far from joining our friends and not returning. So sad because, for the most part, they have good food.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Gross! The first sweet tea I had was full of foreign objects in the bottom (not tea grounds), and the second one had a huge bug in it. I do not understand how this place has a high rating. The restaurant wasn’t clean and the ONE waitress waiting on the entire restaurant had serious BO. We walked out before our food came. I don’t want to know what’s been crawling in that.

My wife and were traveling thru Greenville and doesn’t the night. After checking into our hotel, we looked for a place to eat. Based on the reviews, we went here. Big mistake. My wife ordered a Ruben sandwich and I ordered a ribeye sandwich. Mine wasn’t too bad, but not great. Her Ruben was pathetic. The bread was soaked in some kind of oil and we sent it back. They took her order off our bill and did try to replace her order but she didn’t want to risk anything else. The place was also having trouble with the air conditioner and it was very unvomfortable. We couldn’t wait to leave.
I am not sure if this was just a bad day or indicative of a restaurant that was past it’s apex and on the downhill slide.

Great food! Friendly owners and staff. I eat here weekly with no complaints! Great catering also!

This place should be a shame of their holiday cooking. Christmas Eve, you pick up a gallon of dressing and its freaking frozen in a pickle jar. Should it not be fresh ans in a pan like you would expect!? And no gravy. Then sweet potato casserole- canned potatoes slapped in a flemzly pan and no topping. My my 93 year grandmother order from here and so dissapointed and beyound disbelief of what was sold. If you cut corners to make a dollar for the holidays- what else is going on in the kitchen. But frozen product for holiday food is unacceptable for the price.
