Not ordered from the blue mango since before covid when I could sit in comfort knew how good their food was but thought I’d shop around to see if I could find anywhere better,…… and I couldn’t. The Blue Mango has got to be the best Indian food in Taunton. It was a pleasure from the time I 0laced my order right up to when I scraped my plate clean. The food was fantastic. So much flavour and looked edible. Not going to bother going anywhere else. I’ve found the best takeaway in Taunton and now staying with them.

Ordered here for the first time at the weekend via deliveroo.
The food was delicious – we really like the different dishes and variety. Good portions.
Only 4 stars as we were unable to order the mocha chicken – not listed on deliveroo and my pashwari naan only contained almond and no sultanas and veg as described on their website and the tandoori chicken tikka had no charring or taste of the tandoori.
No real delays in delivery – was given ‘around 40 minutes’ as delivery time and received notification it was on its way at 40 minutes.
Hot and well labelled.
Would order again.

Me and my family have been going to this place since I was younger, and despite trying other places nothing has compared to here. When you used to be able to sit in (I don’t think you can anymore), it was always such a good evening, great service and comfortable seating. Would definitely recommend if you haven’t tried Indian before or just want to go out for dinner, I can guarantee you will return. My only note is if you’re local and ordering to your home, order in advance because it can take a while to come.

Fantastic food this evening. I have not been to the resturant in ages like 8 years and got take away this evening. Went and collected speaking to the owner who was great. When we got home the food was super hot, not greasy at all and full of flavour. I like the touches of the larger vegetables. I am a massive dal and chapati fan and these where both exeptional. Will defo be going back and would reccomend for your next curry for sure.

This is the best Indian food within at least 30 miles in any direction. I have been to so many different indian restaurants and take aways from Bristol, to Dorchester, to Minehead and everywhere in between and yet Blue Mango are still the best by far. Their food is always sensational in taste, freshest ingredients and meats, never disappoints and always leaves us craving more. Every weekend, our treats are a Blue Mango and although you can no longer eat in the restaurant, the food is still superb and the staff, boss and chef are wonderful and friendly as always. We choose to collect our food as we enjoy speaking to the lovely boss and chef when in and of course Niki in front of house and even the delivery driver who is always a laugh when he’s there. Could not fault their service or their food one iota. Thank you so much Blue Mango for years of great food and service. Catherine

Really nice takeaway. Ordered on justeat and collected quickly. Was ready by the time I was there. Very tasty Goan chicken and tandoori chicken tikka. Onion bhaji was a little greasy. Garlic naan was delicious.

We are in town for the night. Overall ok, my lamb was super tough, ordered vindaloo and it was not hot at all. The madras was hotter. The naan was not good. Starter we got was ace. Very tender and tasty. Why are there neon grains of rice in pilau rice?
