Only go here if you’re an American who’ve never had Jamaican food before. You will most definitely like it but for us authentic Jamaican born, it’s terrible. I’m not from Ohio but I come here quite often & I tried giving this place another go but nah. The portion is terrible when it comes to the meat. Oxtail should not be this tiny. And why give me so little with so much rice. Smh. Tots the same for the curry goat as well. And the vegetables are not cooked. Smh. Do better.

We’ve been coming to One Love Jamaican Restaurant for years and every time we’re reminded how authentic Jamaican food is meant to taste. The jerk chicken, curry goat, and oxtail are standout dishes… seasoned perfectly and cooked with care. Their cabbage stir-fry, patties, rice & beans, and butter beans instantly take us back to the island. The staff is always genuine and welcoming, making us feel like family. Highly recommend for anyone craving real, bold flavors and a place that truly cares.

I was craving Jamaican food after a long day of travel and I came upon this amazing Restaurant. The owner was so nice and welcoming with his recommendations. I decided to get the jerk chicken and oxtail combo, Jamaican patty, and of course you can’t forget the plantains. It came out so hot and was incredibly tasty. I would come back this Restaurant in a Heartbeat. Thank you for your hospitality And delicious cuisine.

My first trip to One Love. I will not say this is the best Jamaican food around, because i don’t know much about Jamaican food. However, the food was fantastic, some of the best around, and plenty of it. If it is not the best Jamaican around, i would be hard pressed to believe it. I had Curry Goat, Rice & beans, Cabbage Stir Fry (more on this in a minute), and a glorious “bread” called Festival. I had expectations about the Cabbage Stir Fry……….they were wrong, and it was amazing. So crisp and flavorful, never had anything like it. The Festival is like a bumped up sweet cornbread…….delicious. I cannot say enough about how good the food was. The staff were off the chart friendly. The atmosphere is sparse, but clean. They are set up mostly for take out, but eat in and chat with the owners (staff), it will not disappoint. It does take a minute to get your food out, so be patient, it will be worth it. If you are into hurry up, the Jamaican lifestyle might not be your thing………..or call ahead. I will try the Jerk Salmon on my next trip.

I’m here with my wife for a month, and we’ve already been to this place 3 times They make some of the best Jamaican I’ve ever had.

The last time we showed up towards the end of the day and they had run out of some dishes and had closed early. They opened the kitchen back up for us to get some chicken and plantains, and it honestly made my wife’s week.

Jerk chicken is perfectly cooked, the plantains are honestly some of the best we’ve ever had, and the curried goat is stewed perfectly and basically melts in your mouth. Highly recommend.

The food looked, smelled, and tasted delicious! We got the oxtail (spicy and savory), curried goat (extremely flavorful and moist, and the spice level increased as the meat was cherished), and jerk chicken thigh and leg (it was simple and flavorful – moist in the meat with crispy blackened skin). The service was kind, warming, and welcoming both on the phone call and in person! I can’t wait to go back and try something new. The red snapper fish fish looks tempting, but I can’t wait to try the jerk salmon!
