Very inconsistent from one trip to the next. The service is either excellent or they are behind the bar chatting. Order the same item a few times u will notice that they are made completely different. Today’s alambre had no bacon, no tortillas, no seasoning and was at least 50% just onions. It was a to go order so I couldn’t have it corrected, but was the last for us. I hope things improve for them.

Stopped at Tako Libre for a late lunch. Service and food were amazing! Daniela recommended a flight of margaritas and boy was she right…. Yummo! We will definitely be back.

Awesome food. Best meal I’ve had is the parillada for 2 . Tons of food and enough for almost 3 people. Great price and service too. Have been here more than a few times with a large group and always a good time.

I have had the fajitas and enchiladas there was more than enough to eat. Large portions and a nice flow of chips and salsa. Over all wonderful experience. The hours are wonderful with later times to eat when everything else is shut down in the way of restaurants.

Excellent food. I just love a place that serves authentic, flavorful food. A place that pays attention to the little things. Taco Libre is such a place. Sals is complex, just spict enough, with the fresh flavors of tomato, onion, peppers, and cilantro. The rice is soft but individual grains.. Fully cooked, but not mush. The beans are homemade, they were pinto beans a short while ago, transitioned to rewrites recently. I had a delicious carne asada and queso chile relleno. The batter was not too thick, the filling delicious, and the sauce was yummy. My wife opted for two crispy beef tacos that came with cheese in two fresh shells. The lettuce and tomato were served on the side so you could dress as you like. The service was relatively fast for cooked to order food. The staff was super friendly. Every customer was addressed promptly and treated as friends, but with respect. Definitely a great little spot!

We have been here twice now & we LOVE IT! The asada fries are good! The flautas were a bit too crisp but flavor was good. The tomatillo salsa is finger licking good! The Agua Fresca pineapple is my favorite! The cheesecake there OMG perfect slice size & so dang good! Our food came out one by one, overall the service is great! Clean restrooms! Truly recommend!

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant! I was craving authentic Mexican tacos, so we came here. The chips and salsa were delicious, horchata and Jamaica tasted like they were from the store bought bag you buy to make aguas frescas, so we asked for Waters instead, my dad had ran out of sweet tea and the salsa was very spicy for him so we were looking for our server and she was nowhere to be found so we had to get up and go up to the bar and asked for her she finally filled up our drinks. Once our food arrived I got the barbacoa tacos with rice and beans and I took a bite out of my last taco and I found a mysterious tail look alike item and everyone at the table lost their appetite after that and we left.

We always have the best experience and this has easily become one of our favorite spots! The food is always good and we almost always have our favorite waitress, Daniela! She is so sweet, attentive, and always remembers exactly what we typically order. She already knows what we want or need and provides it before we even get the chance to ask. She is phenomenal!!!

This taquería has the best flavor for miles around—no doubt about it.
My only issue is the amount of hard fat in the tacos. And NO, please don’t say it’s because some people like it. This isn’t the kind of soft, flavorful fat some might enjoy—it’s the tough, hard, chewy kind that’s nearly impossible to eat.
As someone who orders from your place at least three times a week, I’m kindly asking: please don’t mix that hard fat in with the actual meat. Thank you!
