Second time with Sydney’s Sweets. They made a heart-shaped tiramisu cake for my fiancé’s 30th! It was really good, not too sweet. It’s swift and easy to place an order with Jermaine, will definitely be a repeat customer.

I’m in Boston and wanted to send my son at Adelphi a birthday treat to his dorm. After striking out with a few bakeries (no call-backs, meh reviews), I stumbled on Sydney’s Sweets—and thank goodness I did!
I spoke with Jermaine, who was fantastic. He not only helped me figure out what to order but even hand-picked the flavors, including a special one just for my son. When I couldn’t reach my son to coordinate delivery, Jermaine was calm, flexible, and gave me options without pressure. Zero Stress, all kindness… That kind of service is rare.
The cake jars were a huge hit—even the roommates’ moms messaged me to say how much they loved them. My only complaint? They didn’t ship any to me! Next trip to campus, I’m stopping by Sydney’s myself!

Was looking forward to supporting this business and trying these cupcakes since they have such a good reputation. But my personal experience was not the best. I was met with attitude and dry cupcakes after going two different times. Glad I tried them for myself, but do not recommend as a “great bakery” in Long Island.

Sydney’s Sweets hands-down sells one of the most tastiest delicious desserts I’ve ever tried. I ordered the cookie-monster cake slice, the red-velvet, the amaretto and the strawberry cupcakes. Usually when I taste the frosting on desserts, they are usually too sweet or too over-done. The frosting on these desserts were absolutely delicious and simple minus the typical annoying sweet aftertaste. I highly recommend this place for your desserts !

Waited 3 days to try a cupcake! The m-w close threw me for a loop hahaha. I got one chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting… it was the most delicious cupcake I’ve ever had. It was so dense. The frosting was THE BEST PART. I always add pictures to my reviews but I scarfed it down so quickly haha. I will be back to pick up more for my boyfriends mom!

Sydney Sweets deserves a 5 star rating! My mom used her for my bridal shower today. The desserts were so delicious and beautiful that I just had to right a review here and now! Everyone was raving about how delicious everything was, along with the adorable designs for my boho theme. 10/10 cant wait to have another event (or go to one of my friends/family since they will be using her for all desserts needs for now on!)

My favorite bakery when in New York. The sweet potato swirl cake slice is the best thing I’ve ever tasted! There is always something new with the rotating flavors so it’s fun to try different cakes. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The retail hours are very specific though worth working around to get to experience. My wife tried the strawberry crunch cheesecake and she LOVED it as well. I don’t think this place could miss!
