Did I just drive across town after having a mediocre burrito only to get this divine download of a meal. Why yes I did. Worth it. Got bacon and chorizo for less than $15. Just spent 21 down the street and couldn’t do it. Crappy competitor pictured in back where it belongs. Front breakfast burrito pictured in front, close to me, where it’s warm never had a bad meal here. You’re welcome.

I’ve been living in Ventura for eight years and I’m so glad that I found this taco spot. I came in today with a buddy and picked up three tacos and it was perfect all the tacos are street taco sized. I got El Pastore and he got a couple spicy shrimp tacos. They have a really good salsa bar here too
There is a restroom for customers only they do have a handful of tables inside and there’s some seating outside
I parked in the garage downtown so that was super easy to park there for free. I’ll definitely be coming back here and I think next time I’ll try a burrito.

Chill spot just about at the top of downtown Main Street. Good food, but it can be a bit expensive and everything is itemized. Family is pretty friendly for the most part. Place is clean and they have a nice outside patio setup on the street now. Good drinks, great burritos and tacos. They have a nice self service salsa bar. Not the best salsa and chips I’ve had. Overall nice place, if you’re in the area you’ll be satisfied with whatever you order to eat. Check them out for quick service and decent Mexican food with the basic general options. They also have so good vegetarian options of mushrooms, zucchini, potatoes and a few others, great flavors too.

Overall good experience. Staff was friendly and helpful. Being my first time she answered my questions and was patient as we decided on what we wanted.
Inside was small and a bit stuffy so we chose to sit outside.
Patio was nice with plenty of shade and I liked that they had a bowl of water for dogs.
The food didn’t take long. We got a jamaica drink which was delicious. The al pastor was delicious and not dry. The potatoes could use more seasoning they were a bit bland. Adding the hot salsa made it taste better. I plan on going back and trying some of the other meats they offer.

They just opened up! They have tasty but pricey tacos specially for the size, $2.99 each. They do make up with the taste though. Service was excellent and friendly. I’d definitely recommend. I had the pastor and carnitas taco.

Didn’t get a chance to take a picture of our 3 other tacos because they were eaten too fast. 🙂 Some of the best tacos I’ve had. Salsa is great, quality food and good service. Appreciate the fresh veggies and that the thin hand made tortillas were strong enough to survive all the delicious salsas. If you are looking for authentic Mexican flavors, this place is a must!

Oh my goodness. These were the best tortillas that I’ve had in the last 59 times I’ve eaten Mexican food. These sweet mamacitas serve some soul driven food. I could eat these every other day for the rest of my life. I can’t believe I had to leave the area so soon. The town of Ventura is poised to become a cafe style downtown. Probably the best thing to happen to most towns is outside dining due to the pandemic. All of the best towns cater to a car free street. Just look around.
