I recently had the pleasure of visiting this classic roadside bar. I stopped in for a quick meal and was warmly welcomed by a very kind woman. It’s evident that this establishment is a local gathering place, perhaps even a spot frequented by hunters. The atmosphere has a certain vintage charm, which seems fitting for the close-knit hunting and farming community. The food was served hot, the gizzards were tender with excellent flavor, and arrived promptly. I certainly plan to visit again when I’m in the area.

Staff were friendly. When I arrived to pick up food I was unsure despite the positive reviews.
Opened up the food back at the hotel and was pleased with the quality of the food.
Would order again if in same area.

Friendly service and patrons alike. We stopped in for a quick drink after a stroll on the Lewis and Clark trail. Kinda disappointed that they only had beer and wine, but we stuck around and conversed with the locals while we drank cold beers and snacked on some delicious curly fries. Wish they weren’t cash only, too. But they have an ATM onsite.

Well shoot, this place is pretty darn good. On the way to Walla Walla we were feeling like we could go for burgers. Russ’s place did not disappoint.
Now, there was a little mistake in the kitchen, and the food ended up coming out a fair bit longer than it normally would have. The server explained and apologized and the chef came out personally and brought us some apple crumble dessert. It was really good.
It’s on the list.

We stopped here over the weekend, thinking it would be a nice spot for lunch. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the moment we walked in. The greeting was cold and unwelcoming, and after waiting 30 minutes to be seated, while the waitress passed us multiple times without acknowledgment we ended up seating ourselves. We also mentioned it was our first visit, the response was simply, “Oh, okay,” with no effort to make us feel welcome.
We placed our food order at 1:30 p.m., but by 2:30 p.m. it still hadn’t arrived. Meanwhile, other customers seemingly regulars were greeted warmly, seated immediately, and served quickly. Despite being told several times the food was “almost ready,” it never came.
We couldn’t help but notice we were the only people of color in the restaurant, and the difference in treatment was hard to ignore. This was some of the poorest customer service we’ve experienced, and we will not be returning

Just what you would expect. I did not go but husband went in for a beer and to get a pizza to take back to the room. Boys club with sports on tv gambling machines pool tables and beer. Staff at motel check in said she liked the place. Only place in town that I could see…
