Got a last minute tip to go here, and so glad I did. This being my first official lobster roll in Maine I asked the employee her recommendation. Needed up getting the traditional, toasted bun, with mayonnaise and butter no lettuce. It was sooo good and there was a lot of lobster. Also tried the lobster grilled cheese. That was good, but nowhere near as good as the lobster roll. Already planning to go back for another one. Bonus, the prices weren’t nearly as bad as many of the other places that I’ve seen. $24.99 for the lobster roll and their larger roll was $29.99.

We stopped for a coffee. They offer six different kinds but the pots were all empty except one. Got an orange cranberry muffin to go with it. The muffin was perfect! Sat out at a picnic table and enjoyed it.

Delicious, fresh, and plenty is how I would describe the sandwiches. The tuna tasted fresh and the spicken, (steak and chicken with veggies) was a hit. The staff are all so kind. The cookie was excellent.

My sister goes here every weekend on her way to the beach, she’s been satisfied with her usual. The other day she took me to try it, I ordered a catamaran. While she held it she said it felt very light compared to others she got. When lunch time came I opened it to find one piece of turkey, tons of spread cheese and chunks of tomato and a little lettuce!! The bread was dry and the ends had nothing!! I went back the next day and told the guy at the register that I have the WORST sandwich yesterday, he asked me what I ordered, I told him, then what was in it, I said turkey, then he said I never had one of those!!!! THAT WAS IT!! No sorry, no I’ll let them know….NOTHING!! 12.00 for dry roll with one piece of turkey??? I’ll never order from there again!!

First Maine breakfast was a success. Friendly staff and very welcoming. Lobster roll was excellent and 1/3 lber was fair price. Coffees fresh and solid flavor. Muffin and whoopie pie were instant hits with kids. Outdoor seating area was clean and great for us. Other sandwiches and wraps were great. Very happy with the start to our day here.

I am a born and raised mainer. I LOVE lobster. My usual go-to spot for a roll has closed for the season so I decided to give The Landing Store a shot. I am amazed! The rolls were $24 and $27 respectively so I opted for the bigger one. It is HUGE! Packed with fresh picked meat. Perfect amount of mayo. It was waiting for me on the scale and weighed in at just over 3/4 of a pound!! What a hidden gem. Will absolutely be my place to go for a roll from now on.
