Everything we order was wonderful. Burgers, sweet tea, personal meatlovers pizza and ranch were JUST RIGHT. Be sure and get the Side Widner fries, they were SO GOOD! Party of 5

Wanted to try “local food” while visiting the area, and I don’t know if it was a misunderstanding because I asked if the fried shrimp poboy could be made into a wrap (I meant substitute the bread for a wrap) but they put cheddar cheese on it which was a very interesting flavor journey. It wasn’t completely inedible, but I definitely don’t recommend it. The fried okra was AMAZING, and I’ll be stopping in to get some when I visit in the future.
Other things worth mentioning:
-Staff was incredibly friendly
-The dining room and bathroom were very clean
-We were served a bag of chips that expired more than 2 weeks prior
-They charge a credit card service fee (4%!!!) but there was no sign nor did they verbally state it before running my card (this is illegal)

The only time I’ve had a good experience from mikes it’s the one time I bought a grilled chicken salad, and even after I tried to get one again about a month after seems like the touch of culinary has been going out the window. I understand people have their days but I feel this place is overhyped because it’s a small country restaurant. Prices don’t match the taste and cooks should consider food like their own before serving.

I enjoy eating at Mikes country kitchen. You can get just about anything you want to eat. And they have the very best fried dill pickles any where. The service is good. Friendly folks. The food is good hot and fresh. And they give you plenty!

Nice stop along my back roads trip from MS to AL. Had a good cheese burger smoking hot. Lot better than mass produced like warm burgers. I’ll stop there again, great pricing. Could’ve ate the buffet as well, they serve the food from the buffet.

I got fried chicken tots and beef casserole and rice and gravy. My thoughts, the food overall was pretty good. The chicken was a little saltier than I like it but still was good. The rice and gravy, well it’s like uncle Ben’s rice with gravy and the tot and. Beef casserole was good. I would go back again to eat there, it was fulfilling with minor objections.

Based on one stop to eat. Driven by the place hundreds of times, but never stopped. I finally thought what the heck.
I ordered a BLT. It arrived with 2 thin strips of bacon. I didn’t know there was a shortage on bacon.
I stopped in Thomasville at Sonic and got a burger and fries. I haven’t stopped at Mikes since that day.

I ordered some BBQ takeout plates for 15 people, and somehow it was $270.. The plates are listed at $10.99… I was in a rush, so I didn’t have time to dispute the bill…
With all of that being said, the food was not good at all.. The BBQ was dry as a bone and they give you packets of sauce to put on it that is terrible.
I understand there are very limited options to eat in Pine Hill, AL, but I will not be returning.

We stopped in and had some hand made milkshakes. They were great. Thanks

Ok, hear me out. This place is very cute for a meat and three type restaurant. I love the atmosphere. The people where amazing! BUT, I had bar-b-q chicken tenders (chicken fingers), grits (and they scraped the bottom of the pan to get them for me), collard greens, a corn bread role, and a mountain dew; I was incredibly pleased with all of it untol I got the bill. $25.46. This makes Mike’s the most expensive restaurant I have gone to in a while. I ate at Laundries seafood house with a view of the Mississippi the next night and my crayfish etoufe was $21. Due to this I won’t be back, but I hate that because it looks like it should be a wonderful stop on a backroad.
