Absolutely delicious salads with fresh ingredients. Great people who work there, very kind, chicken combo grinders are good and good pizza. They deliver fast too. February 2026. Still the best salads around with fresh ingredients, a lot of veggies , delicious chicken and good bread. Literally, the best salads around. I tried another pizza restaurant on Burnside’s salad, and it was nothing but lettuce. C&E, keep up the great work! All the others need to follow your lead on these salads because you all know how to do it right! Thank you!

We were first time customers last night at C&E Pizza. I ordered a large meat lovers pizza with no ham and onions. I found it to be quite good. The crust was not super hard. It was also not black at all on the bottom from what I could tell.The only thing was a little skimpy on sauce. There were spicy bits at times not sure what from maybe the sausage?
My wife enjoyed the spaghetti with mushrooms and sausage.
I was surprised when I was going out the door when the owner? He hollered to come back which I did. I thought there was maybe a problem with my credit card but there wasn’t.
He gives me a bowl of what I thought he said was ice cream. It was not it was rice pudding which my wife enjoyed. I think he heard me telling his son we were first time customers. It came to around $44 or $45 not too outrageous these days for a large pizza and spaghetti dinner.
We will be getting dinner there again sometime.

My son Slice had a long hair stuck between the sauce and cheese. Like eww . The fried Mozzarella was horrible no flavor the “marinara” sauce taste bad. I would never again be ordering from here again.

I’ve been a loyal customer at this restaurant for over five years since moving to East Hartford, but after my most recent experience, I’m unfortunately done. I ordered a buffalo chicken grinder, and to my surprise, it tasted strongly of fish. After calling the restaurant, the owner’s wife informed us that they fry both fish and chicken in the same oil. She explained that we should’ve mentioned our seafood allergy before ordering, but nowhere on their website or over the phone was there any mention of potential cross-contamination.
To make matters worse, there was no offer of an apology, refund, or even a substitution. This is incredibly disappointing after years of patronizing the restaurant. It’s one thing to make a mistake, but the lack of customer service and the indifference shown when we brought up our concerns is what really lost me as a customer. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

Wonderful food! The amount of food for the price surprised me. My delivery bag seemed too heavy to just be what I ordered but it was. Penne Alfredo with broccoli w/ side salad, came with fresh baked garlic bread (I’m told they make their own bread), and a side (or what I think was an entire meal) of sweet potato fries. I will definitely be ordering again. Estimated delivery time was on point.

I hope everyone try’s this place out just so they get to meet and talk to Maria. The most sweet welcoming lady ever. It was my first time ordering from there and she herself alone will make sure I go back again and again. Food is great too! It’ll make you come back but Maria makes you want to even more!

I wish I can give it a 0. The food was disgusting! The wings were not cooked all the way. After I asked for them well-done. The pizza was really greasy. I called and complained but they didn’t want to give a refund or even make the food over again.
