Great food, solid quality, fair value
We had two casados, one vegetarian and one with stewed beef, and both were very good. The beef was nicely slow-cooked and full of flavor, while the vegetarian version stood out with fresh, crunchy, and well-balanced vegetables. Prices are a bit higher than in a typical soda, but that’s reflected in the better service and more comfortable atmosphere.
The restaurant itself isn’t a visual highlight compared to others, but the kitchen appears clean and professionally run—and most importantly, the food was excellent. Definitely a good choice if you value quality over looks.

Not the best ceviche I’ve ever had but great for the price. Also my spicy margarita was TOO spicy but they were kind enough to remake it. I also loved the salsa music they were playing.

Quaint place, on the smaller side with a bar. Margaritas were the best I’ve had in Santa Theresa. We ordered several dishes: lobster ,beef & short ribs. Be prepared that the lobster is small and is rock lobster, which we knew would be chewy, but tasted fair. The short ribs were NOT short ribs… it was pork belly and wasn’t even tender(person refused to send it back). The beef(med rare) sliced had the best flavor. Make reservations, it fills up.

Not a very extensive menu and most options are the same (just a different way of having it, eg rice with shrimps or Casado shrimps or salad shrimps). But what you get is GOOD. Staff worked hard. Presentation was nice without feeling exaggerated like many places in Santa Teresa. And overall very affordable especially compared to others.

My worst Restaurant experience in 4 months in Costa Rica ❗
overpriced food, and tax and tip will be charged extra (23% on top)
However, I choose a 25$ fish meal, from which I would expect a good size and fresh tasty flavors. However the fish was disappointingly small and came without sides (except a small salad) the taste was below average probably imported frozen fish.
On top of that, the waiter was unprofessionaly unfriendly and wasn’t interested in improving my experience.
I can’t understand how this restaurant has such a high rating, for real Costa Rican flavors and food experience you definitely shouldn’t go there.

This place is sooo good, food is delicious, I had lobster and my friend had fish tacos, both were super tasty! Also service is super attentive and fast! Worth coming back to!

The food here is well prepared and the portions are huge. The prices are good considering the size of the ample portions. The waiter I had is the best waiter I have encountered in Costa Rica; knowledgeable and attentive to your every need.The only detraction is the fact you are eating right on the main drag and the street noise can be a little loud at times. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It is the best one I have experienced in Santa Teresa.

I have one word for this restaurant: AMAZING! Probably the best restaurant in Santa Teresa for local dishes. Definitely try the casado. My friend had the vegetarian option and I had the pork and ribs. The staff is great! Again… the best in town!
