What a hidden gem !! We were at a local car dealer for hours and we were starving, looked for steak & cheese and find these !! They were closing and they welcomed my husband in with open arms and boy are we glad they did !!! Steak & cheese was huge and delicious !! Mac and cheese was quite obviously homemade and filled with lots of LOVE & CHEESE !!! Can’t wait to be back in the area to come again !! Thanks for not turning him away at closing time !!!!

I spent most of my life around Philly and I’ve had many hundreds of cheesesteaks from dozens of places. The steaks at CDs are authentic and delicious. You’d probably have to drive hours to find a cheesesteak of this quality. Staff is friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

I grew up in Philly, my pops had his own cheesesteak shop. I decided to try this place out ( even though I am not a fan of the cheezwhiz) in Philly there are the cheesewhiz people and the American cheese people.. I prefer American cheese. Cheezwhiz is not even real cheese. I liked that they have Amoroso rolls.. but we couldn’t even eat the sandwiches it was so greasy and they fell apart my husband had to stand outside to eat his. We paid $67 for 2 greasy steak sandwiches with chemical cheese a large tater tot and 2 cans of Pepsi . We won’t be going back. The service is great tho.
