Tasty Treat has reopened under new ownership! The previous owner had Homer’s ice cream – they now have Hershey’s! The ice cream is still good and prices are still reasonable. The inside has also been renovated and looks great! My husband and I had great service and looking forward to having a close ice cream shop again!

When it comes to ice cream, this place is heavenly! The service is wonderful and of course the ice cream and other treats are delicious. Have to make sure we don’t come too often, or we’d gain 100 pounds! This place is now one of the ice cream gems of the western suburbs.

Went in around 10:30pm on a Saturday and had the best experience! The owner, Sherry, was so welcoming, kind, and had great recommendations. The flavor of ice cream that I had wanted was out, but she recommended the Oatmeal Cookie Craving instead, and it was delicious! My partner got the five layer spumoni on her rec and he loved it (especially the cherry and marshmallow layers). It was such a nice way to end a hot summer day – we will definitely be back.

The shakes are phenomenal and you can pick any flavor. When I arrived they were busy and they quickly & efficiently moved through the line. The two people working were very friendly and the location was spotless. After our previous favorite ice cream shop closed one town over, we didn’t think we would we able to replace them and we are so pleased to have found this gem which is even closer to home. My husband and I work in food service and are crazy about cleanliness and it was very sanitary and so clean.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place truly stands out. Every time I visit, the lady kindly offers me a sample of ice cream.. a small gesture that shows her genuine warmth and gratitude. The ambience and service are always great. I genuinely hope this place gets the recognition it deserves and becomes even busier with success. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

We stopped at this new ice cream place in Westmont this evening. The service, location, and ice cream were amazing! We enjoyed all of our ice cream waffle cones – lil panda, black cherry, and cotton candy. Pretty sure the kids will be regulars ❤️
