So we went back and we were delighted with the service. The food was amazing and this has to be our new fav place to frequent. We already knew the old fashioneds were delish.
We had the blacked shrimp with Cajun rice, one of the best Cajun rice I have ever sampled. We also had to try the cheese curds which were really good paired with the aioli dip. I had the broasted chicken with potato pancakes and spicy slaw, so yum. The pancakes are massive and I could eat only part of one. Chicken was so flavorful! The boys all had the Friday fish fry and of course I had to try it. So flaky so crunchy , a must try.

To wrap and I couldn’t get pics coz it got devoured, we had the raspberry cheese cake and creme brulee. The cheese cake was unique and oh- so good!!
Check this place out , and oh they take reservations which I did not realize!!

My earlier review:
Our first time and definitely will be back. We stopped at the bar. So glad we did
Good Brandy old Fashioned. Loved the atmosphere, the setting. Will be back to try food.
Service was a miss. But we believe in second chances so not a show stopper unless a repeat

Brandy’s Old Fashioned is pure cozy Northwoods holiday nostalgia. The wood-paneled walls, vintage Schlitz signs, and red vinyl barstools make it feel like an old-school Wisconsin supper club dressed up for Christmas. Warm lights, little trees, and a giant moose head create the perfect mix of rustic charm and festive kitsch. It’s kind of spot where you just want to settle in with an old fashioned and never leave.

Service was excellent – Briea was attentive and so friendly as was the rest of the staff. They will take care of you and make sure you’re enjoying your time there.

We were there for drinks but couldn’t resist trying the cheese curds. They are a must – especially paired with the Old Bay aioli

Save room for the Grasshopper – it’s dangerous and delicious.

We got seated right away for our reservation. The decor inside was cute. We waited about 10 minutes for the server to come to our table. We ordered cheese curds and 2 drinks to start off. The curds came long before our drinks did. Drink prices were high. Curds were good. My husband ordered the Alfredo pasta with chicken. Once you add chicken, it comes to $24. That does not include bread or salad. Just the pasta. I ordered the broasted chicken. It was supposed to be a half chicken. It was 4 tiny pieces that were dried out. My baked potato was a bit dehydrated, as well. My entree also did not come with a salad. We ordered 1 small side salad; also overpriced at $6. I asked for extra napkins 3 times and never got them. The bus boy refilled out waters, cleared our plates and brought us a box for the leftover pasta. We got better service from the bus boy. He was running his butt off while we barely saw our server. Overall, you’re paying for atmosphere. It’s overpriced for poor service and poor quality. There are many great supper clubs in LG. We will skip this one next time.

Stopped in for dinner while my wife and I were on our honeymoon and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Everyone who we talked with was extremely kind and personable, and our server Steven was amazing. He convinced us to try a Golden Cadillac ice cream drink, which I had never heard of, but it was very good and I would recommend it to anyone. We got the shrimp scampi and the Brandy’s chicken, both were very good. Thank you for the great experience! Was definitely a highlight of our trip.

Went to Brandy’s Old Fashioned for my birthday a week ago; I enjoy trying new restaurants and eating delicious food, and wanted to give them a try.

Atmosphere was warm and inviting, which is what I would expect and hope for most restaurants to be, especially a supper club. The atmosphere and the drinks were the most enjoyable part of the experience.

The food was mediocre and not worth what the prices were, unfortunately; nothing was disgusting or vile, but nothing was spectacular. Although the mussels and French Onion soup were decent, everything else was okay, but nothing special. I got the seafood pasta, which is a dish I have ordered many times in other restaurants. One-note in flavor, could have benefited significantly from adding acidity and other complementary flavor profiles to offset the heaviness of the cream in the sauce. Additionally, multiple relatives of mine had cold food. Although the likelihood of having someone actually spit on your food is probably rare and exaggerated, who wants to take that chance.

My aunt ordered the filet, and was served what looked like a miniscule piece of meat; everyone commented that it did not look like an 8 oz steak. Her meat and the loaded baked potato were cold, and my uncle also received cold food. Additionally, both my mother and father were disappointed in their food and have had better supper club dishes elsewhere.

The service could be improved as well. The waitress we had was very personable and happy to help, which is not always the case, but the timing of serving was a bit off, which may explain why a significant amount of food was cold. It was either that or the food was just not heated enough.

I also am interested in the fact that the only item on the dessert menu that would have a special birthday price on the menu is the cheesecake. Even after telling the waitress it was my birthday, and deciding that I wanted the key lime pie instead, there was no discount applied to a dessert that I wanted more. From my experience, many restaurants will apply a special on the house birthday deal to many desserts, not just one. This is likely not on the waitress, however, and likely is the responsibility of the owner themselves.

I truly believe that if the timing of the food is not fixed, that will be the demise of this restaurant. You can have a nice atmosphere and a nice waitstaff, but if your place is too expensive and the food does not match the expense, then the restaurant will inevitably go out of business.

I hope that the owners take these criticisms into consideration and apply them, otherwise I would have to agree with my family that it will not last much longer.

I hope someone else who reviews them in the future has a better experience.

This place is it’s own vibe. A great supper club. We were so happy and satisfied with our meal! Excellent service and excellent old fashioned’s. If you’re looking for a nice meal in the Lake Geneva area, this is the place.

We had a reservation for 6 and were seated right away when we arrived, the waitstaff did a great job and overall service was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and food, the old fashioned’s were delicious as was the French onion soup. My ribeye was cooked slightly over the medium rare I ordered but was very tasty. Their steaks come with a fair amount of char on them which I don’t mind but just a heads for those sensitive to that. Overall we had a great dinner here, would return in the future.

I’ve visited Brandy’s twice now and both experiences were amazing! The first time, I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp & scallop appetizer and the espresso filet for my entrée, it was so delicious it was gone before Steph could ask how my dinner was.
I recently came back to celebrate my mom’s birthday and recommended she try the espresso filet too, and she loved it just as much as I did. I ordered Brandy’s Chicken this time and it was incredible!

A huge thank you to Steph, who made sure everything was perfect and truly gave us the best dining experience. Brandy’s has definitely become one of my favorite spots, and I highly recommend it for a great meal and great service!

Tuesday evening we went in knowing that it wouldn’t be busy due to this time of year being the off season in Lake Geneva. We were right!
The bar has been spruced up since the last business but nothing spectacular.
We both ordered the french onion soup which was luke warm with burnt cheese on both. (There will never be anything better than Charlie O’s french onion soup.) Not a great start! Then we ordered the spinach/artichoke dip with pita chips. Again, luke warm with burnt cheese on the top. (Go to the Next Door Pub if you want this appetizer made right.) We both ordered steaks which were tender but lacked seasoning. The loaded baked potato did not have the usual bacon and cheese, it had green pepper and some other veggies with once again over cooked cheese on top. Not at all what was expected.
Overall the food was not worth the prices.
On a positive note, the waitress and bartender were pleasant.
We wish you well with your business. We’re sure the folks on this side of the lake will keep you busy during the summer.

We went to Brandy’s Old Fashioned while visiting Lake Geneva for Christmas this year. If I had to give an honest review, we probably wouldn’t come back. The food and drinks were not bad, but for the price we didn’t feel that the quality reflected in what we ordered. My husband ordered the chicken alfredo which was decent, and I had Brandy’s Chicken, which was overcooked. The sides with my meal were tasty overall. The garnish served on the relish tray was not fresh, which didn’t give the greatest impression to the rest of the experience moving forward. I will give an A+ for ambiance, the bar area was very cozy and well decorated.

I really hate to give a new restaurant/small business a poor review, but hoping my feedback can help improve the experience for others going forward.
