The category of food I would describe as “soul-nourishing”. Truly a gem of an eatery and always gobsmacked to savour their plentiful menu options. Very evident on fresh ingredients and cold-pressed oils being used and it does reflect well. Kudos to the hardworking and kind team. Best pizza in Halifax imo and support local!

I’ve been wanting to try Dominic’s Cucina for a while, and I finally made the trip from Ottawa to Halifax just for it—and it was worth every kilometre! My family of four shared the Americana and the Fughni pizzas. They were freshly made and ready in about 15 minutes, with incredible flavour and perfect texture.
Dominic and his friend were so friendly and welcoming, adding to the whole experience. As a pizza enthusiast, I can honestly say this is among the best pizzas I’ve ever had—it reminded me of the authentic Napoletana pizza I enjoyed in Italy. As soon as I opened the boxes, the kids got a piece of pie, so I apologize for the pictures! Fresh, flavourful, and made with love. Highly recommended!

Admittedly I have only ordered one pizza here so I am far from being able to comment on all the food offered up, but I can offer up that their Neapolitan pizza, more specifically, the Queen Margherita pizza, was the best I have tried. The char on the dough was perfect, as was the dough itself, light and perfectly textured. The sauce was great, as were all the toppings. The owners/operators seemed great, though we did not talk long as it was a cold, windy day. Parking was okay, though keep in mind they are mobile so they cycle through different places. Cost was more than the average pizza, but these are not your average pizzas. I will definitely be returning to try more of their pizzas.

So good! I had to get food before my meeting and saw this food truck and turned my car around to give it a try. I had never tried it before and honestly didn’t even know what kind of food they served. I did not have a lot of time and there was a 15 min wait. I wasn’t able to wait that long so was just going to leave but the lady said “Let me see what I can do”. I had my pizza in 5 minutes (maybe even less). I drove to my meeting and started eating my pizza in the car and OH MY GOODNESS it was so delicious! The best! Would highly recommend people to try and I will definitely turn my car around again to get a pizza the next time I see. And will gladly wait 15 minutes because it will be worth the wait. Thank you Dominic’s for your friendly faces and kindness to a girl who didn’t have a lot of time to wait. You made my evening

I was told I needed to check this place out for pizza and that I wouldn’t be disappointed. They were already on my list to try and since I had planned to go to Dartmouth I decided to sit and wait for them to open. Let me tell you it was worth the wait.
Because it was lunch time they did only have part of their selection. So I didn’t get to try one of the Pizza Bianca. Guess that means I will be back.
I tried the Dino – sauce, mozzarella. Calabrese salami and genoa salami. The 2nd was the Sophia – sauce, goat cheese, roasted cherry tomatoes, red onion, NS Honey and chilli flakes. Only took about 15mins to be ready, I was also the first customer and I heard they do get busy, so timing likely would vary.
When they handed me the pizzas…Wow. Pizza normally does smell good when you first get it but this smell was beyond amazing. It smelt so good that when I got in the car I had to eat a piece right away. If you do this, careful, it’s hot!
Toppings were good and everything went well together. The dough was soft and airy.
This is definitely my new number one spot for woodfired pizza. Highly recommend.
As a side note, the pizzas were under $20 each!

This is hands down the best stone-fired pizza in HRM. What makes it even better are the owner and staff who work there. They are incredibly kind, and go above and beyond to make sure the pizza is fresh and hot! Pricing is very reasonable, especially given the quality of the food.
My favourites are the Strada and Dominico.

I’ve tried this place twice now and I’ve really liked them. The first time we had the Bella and the Verdura. The last time I tried the Lavori and my friend had the Funghi. My friend found her Funghi a little bland. All three of the ones I tried were pretty good. I think my fav so far has been the Bella, with the goat cheese.
Love the thin crust on this pizza. The sauce is really good. And don’t forget to get some roasted garlic aioli to dip your crust.
I recommend calling ahead as they get quite busy.
