Had some excellent sushi here! Victoria was our server and she was amazing – A+, 10/10. We “sunk the ship”! All the food was delicious. We had the Ahi tuna, bang bang shrimp & dumplings as apps. Miso was spot on. Jefferson, Zeus, Minami, Rainbow & Harajuku all incredible. Put this one on your list if you are in the area!

Such a chill and romantic vibe right in the heart of downtown Lafayette. Honestly one of my favorite spots. I even got to meet the chef — super cool guy and seriously talented. The food is amazing, especially the fish lineup . Great atmosphere, great people, and just an all-around perfect vibe. Can’t wait to come back! The service was way better than the food. The problem is the food was freaking amazing..

The place is nice, and the food was good. I’ll come back for the ramen since the quality and price are good. Service was okay, and the atmosphere is calm and pleasant. It’s located downtown and the interior is pretty nice. At the end, they added an 18% service fee for large parties. FYI, we also tried the fried rice and found it quite expensive for what it is, and we don’t recommend the veggie sushi loll -however the other maki rolls are yummmy!

Minami is always a win! Whether I’m sitting at the bar or in a booth with friends or family, the vibe is always perfect. You can really tell that the people running this place have created a great atmosphere for both the staff and customers, and it shows in the service.
The food is incredible. If I’m not going for their lunch special (which is such a great deal), I’m usually getting the Saints Roll paired with any of their regular rolls. I also love the hibachi noodles, which are always a solid side. Honestly, I could close my eyes, point at the menu, and be happy with whatever I get. Everything is always delicious.
Definitely one of my top spots, and I highly recommend it!

Loved my experience here! The food was delicious – I got the cucumber salad as a starter and the spicy Black Samurai ramen as my entree. My mom got the beef hibachi. Both so good! The atmosphere was quiet, minimalist decor with dim lighting – very cool spot for an intimate date night or fun dinner with friends. I can’t wait to go back! Our waiter Bryce was great. Prices were very reasonable.

This is my new favorite sushi place in Lafayette. The sushi was so fresh and there’s lots of fish variety you don’t find in other spots in town. The service was excellent – we had a mixup when ordering sashimi vs nigiri and the manager came and talked with us and remedied the situation instantly. The chicken in the hibachi was perfectly grilled and seasoned. They don’t serve alcohol yet but I’m excited to come back and have some sake with my sushi. The lighting is a bit bright and dimmer would be better for a dinner/date night

This place is fantastic, and I highly recommend it. A highlight on Jefferson Street, this little gem has great food, great service, and a clean, stylish atmosphere.
The sushi is very fresh and delicious, but don’t sleep on the other options here! The house stir fried noodles are absolutely delicious, and come in a very big portion. The cheese puffs and the egg rolls are also some of my favorites.
The mixed drinks have been really good as well, so if you enjoy cocktails, I’d suggest giving some of them a try.
Overall, if you’re downtown, I’d definitely suggest giving this place a try.

Needs improvement. Ikura (salmon roe) was over marinated and tasted like hard liquor alcohol. My daughter wouldnt eat them and she usually loves ikura. I couldnt even eat them. It was that potent. The crab cheese puffs tasted like a dessert. Too sweet. We dont mind paying a lot for higher end sushi… but this is not it. I gave 3 stars (I would actually give 2.5) because the salmon sushi and tonkatsu ramen were decent ebough and people were nice. Not worth the $70 bill though. I expected better tasting sushi.

It was amazing! The enviroment was very stylish and fit the mood around us perfectly. The waitresses there were extremely nice and got us everything we ordered quickly as well. The food tasted outstanding and I indulged untill I couldn’t eat another bite. Will definitely come back!
