Tiny hole in the wall soil food restaurant. Delicious! No tables just service counter. Tiny Tiny parking lot, we found street parking. I got the ribs, corn & organic, mashed potatoes. My boyfriend got smothered chicken, cabbage, and greens. We got 2 meals out of it. It was the best soul food I’ve ever had. Went after an event at the intuit dome. Took the food to Rowland heights and it was still hot! Bang for the buck! This place is fuiyoh! Not fancy just great tasty food done right with love! Very very strongly recommend! I’m going back the next time I’m in the area.

One year local in View Park, native to Alabama. I’ve been craving soul food, oxtails in particular, but I haven’t known where to start exploring. Today I found out Gloria’s is less than a mile from me so I stopped by.
The food is outstanding and reasonably priced, I will definitely be a regular customer. Oxtails, yams, collards, tuna casserole, peach cobbler and Jiffy. I have enough food for today, tonight and tomorrow.
I very much appreciate the ladies who made me feel welcome and invited me back for Thanksgiving- this is where I’ll be 🙂

Beyond disappointed. I don’t know why this person continues to list their opening hours and are not available. We pulled up today at 6:30 on a Sunday and they were closed. I don’t understand how you expect the local community to patron your establishment when you are not open.

I’m from GA… very harsh critic of soul food. Decided to try Gloria’s today. Best soul food I’ve had in LA. Yams were amazing, Mac and Cheese on point, BBQ chicken bomb. I’m so glad to finally have found a go to soul food place out here without a 30 minute wait that’s not loaded with Accent (msg) giving me a headache like Dulans.

On the Google page the prices are very reasonable but when you get there you’ll see no prices listed for anything. I ordered some pork ribs, cabbage, green beans and a small side of white beans. Everything tasted really great but imagine my surprise when the price was almost $30. Online, the average side is $2 and main dishes were about $5-7. The portions are very generous but I’m used to Chef Marilyn’s prices. Equal quality at both places. Parking is limited, I parked a block away. The counter people were very friendly and helpful. A small side of beans is $1.50 but I was charged $7.50. I felt really cheated.

BEWARE OF DECEITFUL MENU PRICES!! The food is just good. I was APPALLED AT THE PRICES!!! they list a menu with $2-4 ite.s and when you get your bill it’s OUTRAGEOUS! They are deceitful while you’re ordering and instead of telling you there is a A LA CARTE MENU AMD A DINNER MENU THEY JUST SERVE YOU AMD CHARGE YOU UP! I WASS PISSED AND SISNT WANT TO MAKE A SCENE BUT I WONT GO THERE AGAIN JUST ON THEIR DECEITFUL TACTICS! Amd BTW THE GREENS ARE CANNED i asked them if they were canned and they said NO EVERYTHING IS FRESH…I know canned greens when I eat them and also $16 for 1 short rib…ONE! I will not be going there again
