Chob Thai is a lovely restaurant with beautiful interiors and tasty food situated in a quaint, peaceful, location. We went there for my wife’s birthday and ordered their 2 course menu, which was so delicious and had a big serving. Will really make you full, not just by the amount, but also by flavor. We also ordered a Matcha Latte, which my wife tagged as the “best matcha latte she had, so far in her life”. They also served their Mango Cheese Cake as a birthday treat for my wife, and it was exceptional.
The staff were also very friendly and helpful, they patiently explained the menu to us and hosted us very well. Truly 5 stars.
Plus points, we booked at around 12:30 on a Sunday and lucked out that we were the only ones in the restaurant, it looked like we rented out the place
TLDR: MUST GO, MUST TASTE. 5 STARS.

This place is just amazing! The interior is absolutely stunning and the food is sooo good. The staff (and the owner!) are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet – they really take care of you.
I don’t drink alcohol, and every time I come here they make me a brand-new mocktail that’s even better than the last one. On top of that, when we came to celebrate some big news, they surprised us with a complimentary cheesecake – hands down the best one I’ve tried in Dublin!
Honestly, it’s worth driving 20 km just to eat here. Can’t wait to come back!

Delicious food in a very relaxed environment! Ordered the Platter for 2 and the Seabass with peanut sauce. Both were amazing. Was served a basket of fried chips first. Has stairs so not very stroller or wheelchair friendly. Very friendly staff especially to children. Washroom could be better. Thanks for the memorable dinner!

Could be my new favourite restaurant in Dublin! The food was so authentic and full of flavour, it was like I was back in Thailand. The food was gorgeous! Great vegan options too. It was my birthday and they surprised me with a lovely dessert. I’d also go back for the cocktails, really impressed! I love the decor and layout of the restaurant. The best thing though was the service! Incredibly attentive, polite and friendly staff, great information about the menu and really warm and welcoming! I went for dinner with my husband, it was our first time eating Thai food in Dublin as it was a surprise from him to me. It was wonderful, everything from the service, the taste of the food, the atmosphere, the decor.
I specifically ordered a traditional Pad Thai and everything on the plate was perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked and of excellent quality.
Absolutely grateful that in Dublin there is a place like Chob Thai. We would like to extend our congratulations to the entire team.
A special mention to Adam who was our main waiter. Very friendly, helpful, patient and funny.

Had a excellent visit to Chob Thai. The food was delicious and so flavourful. I would recommend the sharing platter to start as it gives you a taste of a few things, the sauces that come with it are so tasty, particularly the satay.

The best pad Thai I’ve had in 15 years. I had the pad Thai and my brother got the pad Thai special (jumbo prawns and more saucy) – I can’t tell you which was better as they were both amazing.
I also had the Tom Khaa coconut soup – to die for. Delicious!
We had the lamb special – so tasty, the beef and peppercorn sauce – everything was so good.
I highly recommend this place and the staff were so nice.

We randomly stumbled upon this Thai spot but I swear they serve the absolute best Thai food in Dublin. Our plates were cleared in no time! Our favourite were the shrimp paste fried rice and ofc, Som Tam. Also, plus points for their homemade ice cream. The place was cozy and well maintained, and the staff were nice and friendly. Totally worth the price!
