Tucked away in a quiet shopping plaza on the east side of San Mateo, this Chinese restaurant serves a large menu of traditional Cantonese dishes in a small venue. The beef noodle soup was a bit disappointing, as there was too much noodles and the soup was bland. The chicken wings were pretty good, though. Efficient service. Large free parking lot.

The food here is absolutely disgusting. I ordered 4 items for takeout and every single item tasted stale and old as if it was frozen and reheated. The chicken had a weird texture to the meat, was covered in salt, and was inedible. The same was true for the walnut prawns which had a staleness to the breading and prawns and the walnuts tasted old and were soft and not crunchy. Nothing we ordered tasted like it was made with fresh ingredients. The food was so bad we ended up tossing everything. The bill total was $77.68! Hands down the worst takeout experience ever. Beware!

This restaurant serves really delicious classic and well-known Chinese dishes at a level of quality equal to the best in San Francisco. The flavor is not watered down. I ordered the shrimp with scrambled eggs over chow fun noodles. The noodles were redolent of wok hei, with a notable smokiness. Next time I will order chicken with salted fish fried rice and expect it to be at the same high level of yumminess

I’ve been getting takeout here a few times a month for years. Dishes are always fresh tasting with great vegetables and meats. Portion sizes are plentiful and the staff are super friendly. Our favorite dishes are beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, walnut prawns, combo fried rice, cashew chicken and hot and sour soup.

I’ve been getting food here through DoorDash Often on for a long time. Tonight, I got my sweet-and-sour chicken and it’s not edible
It’s a bunch of deep-fried pieces of bones. No meat it’s ridiculous. What’s worse is that they don’t answer the phone to even discuss it with me. I disputed through DoorDash and I’ll get a refund in like 10 days but still This restaurant not only has the lack of Care to send out an order with deep-fried bones, but they don’t even answer the phone to deal with people. I mean, who the hell cooks and deep fries pieces of cartilage and bone with no meat on it. It doesn’t even think about the customers experience? It’s nasty.

One of our most revisited Chinese restaurants. Our family all agreed the food here is very good. The restaurant is always vacant because most customers love takeout than dine-in. The staff is friendly and fast. At the time we first visited, they already accepted credit cards.

Probably my newest favorite chinese restaurant!! The portions are huge here with some really authentic dishes. After finding this place through yelp, I’ve ordered take out here many times already.
Some dishes I would highly recommend are: salt pepper fish, salt pepper pork chop, braised tofu w black mushrooms, and taishan eel clay pot rice (for a really authentic dish; they put the clay pot rice really cleanly into the to-go box).
Other dishes that I’ve tried that were also really good were: sweet and sour pork/fish, chow mein, and chow fun.
These dishes I would avoid: xiao long bao (they were broken when we got them) and pork with preserved vegetables noodle soup (was a bit disappointed in the taste).
Other than those few dishes we didn’t like, the other dishes we’ve ordered were amazing. We were always impressed with the portions. The prices are decent and I am so glad that I’ve found this great restaurant.

Disappointed at this place, ordered food, unable to eat it due to the extreme amount of salt, DoorDash wouldn’t refund me, my husband let the restaurant know and they said to deal with DoorDash…well this goes straight to the garbage can!!!! So so disappointed!!!!
