Great for Korean fried chicken! A bit on the pricey side but it’s worth your money. I got the Gangnam style chicken- good mix of flavor and spicy. Good atmosphere and full bar! Will definitely be back!

I’ve been to bb.q Chicken Carmel twice now, and it’s a pretty cool spot that I think will gain popularity as more people discover it. It has a great atmosphere with a nice little bar and plenty of TVs, and the food is consistently good.
I’ve had both the bone-in and the boneless, and I would hands down recommend the boneless wings!
– My first visit featured the Gangnam Style (text{강남스타일} ). The black pepper sauce, garlic, and onions were delicious and well-balanced, but honestly, none of the rated spice landed on me.
– My second visit, I tried the Spicy Galbi (text{매운갈비} ). This was my favorite! It has that classic Galbi flavor, but with an extra smoky, extra spicy finish. While not immediately intense, the heat definitely built over time. I look forward to trying a four-flame option next time to find my limit!
I also really enjoy the side of slaw—it’s a great palate cleanser and complement to the wings. A co-worker ordered the Chicken Fried Rice, and that fried egg over the top looked absolutely delicious.
Highly recommended by this old guy! Give it a try.

We were blown away that this place is empty on a monday during peak lunch hours while places like Chick-fil-A and Raisin cains have lines around the building for the same price!

I love this restaurant. The staff was amazing and the food was delicious. Never had pickled radish before, it was yummy. I will definitely be returning to try other dishes. There were so many. Today I had the Cheeseling Fries that were fantastic. Then I got the Galbi chicken, which was also amazing. Even a small is enough to feed 2. My 1 and only complaint is that there is no fountain drinks. It is $2.50 PER can of pop or bottle of tea. When other places offer free refills, $2.50 was a bit steep. $1 – $1.50 seems more reasonable.

The place is irght by Meijer and if I am not wrong, in the location that used to be the miracle sushi restaurant. The important thing to know is that they stop dine in by 8 pm but allow carry out till 9 pm. We saw them turn away a lot of people that wanted to dine in post 8 pm.
Our waitress was quick to respond to every table that was seated – we ordered our apps and dinner and food came out quite speedy. We had the bulgogi rice bowl – meat to rice ratio could have been better – as in the meat was a bit less compared to the rice. The So Ddeok so Ddeok was a hit with the sauce as well as the combo of rice cake and hot dog. The fried dumpling was however okay. We came for the fried chicken and that was definitely something we all enjoyed. We ordered the half and half boneless with the original and secret sauce – the original is just okay but has great crunch as expected. The secret sauce was better, however not enough spice so we will try a spicier sauce next time. The pickled radish was so very delicious. I couldnt stop eating them.
Definitely worth few more visits to try out the various sauces and other Korean specials

The service was excellent. The chicken was fresh, cooked perfectly and the breading and sauce was tasty. The corn cheese was good. The dukboki was good, I wish the sauce was a bit thicker, but it was still good. The flavors were all on point. The rice was not sticky. Will definitely be coming back

We were super excited when we found out that BB.Q Chicken was opening in Carmel. We are huge fans of the Castleton location and are happy we have one less than 5 miles from us.
Much like the Castleton location, the food is fantastic. We always order the Spicy Original wings and Rosé Ddeok-Bboki (pictured). The wings are a generous size – crispy on the outside and so juicy as well. It’s a good spice that will linger. I know this is a bold statement but definitely some of the best chicken wings in the area. They recently added more rice dishes like Chicken Fried Rice (pictured) and others – all great additions to the menu.
The service is good – everyone was attentive but not overbearing. The atmosphere is great as well.

I was really surprised to see bb.q so quiet on a Saturday at lunch time. Really solid food and a nice and quiet cozy ambiance. We ordered the gangnam style and the honey garlic, bone-in- and some sweet potato fries and a side of white rice. Everything was delicious and fresh. The sweet potato fries seemed to be house made and not previously frozen and tasted very nice. The Gangnam style chicken was my favorite of the two we tried, with the smoky glaze having great depth of flavor. The honey garlic was very sweet, verging on candied, my toddler really liked it. We’ll be back, service was also very good, attentive without being overkill.

We stopped by a couple weeks ago for our first time. Food was excellent, the main complaint I have was that the size of the pieces were about half the size at other fried chicken places. So a “whole chicken” was surprisingly small. We wanted to order two half chickens with different sauces. We were told that wasn’t allowed, we could only get the the whole chicken combo which is one half golden and the other with a sauce I don’t remember (it was delicious though). We explained we would pay the full half chicken price on each because we wanted to try other sauces, but firmly (not mean) told it couldn’t happen. Bizarre since a half chicken is listed along side the boneless wings and regular wings above all the sauce options. The dumplings were excellent and so were the noodle bowls. I would get takeout there again but probably not eat in. We arrived a couple hours before closing, they were forcing everyone to sit on the dining side by the entry door and every time someone opened it you were blasted with freezing cold air. They have bar on the sign outside but said the draft beer taps were shut off, didn’t give any reason. My family of six all agreed the food tasted great but none have a desire to return after our experience.
