I have to say, I wasn’t expecting much for a fast food type of establishment. I ordered the pepper steak and it was freshly made, with decent amount of fresh vegetables. However, the items sitting under the heat lamps didn’t look as good. Best between is to select a dish that was just made. It was clean and staff friendly.

Our in store service was outstanding! From the fresh peppered steak, to the samples of sesame shrimp, the line service was warm, inviting & helpful. The lo mein was superb. I certainly recommend this location and especially Jenn, she was great.

Ordered on the app. Was given a pick-up time of 6:52 pm. Food wasn’t ready until 7:24 pm! There were a lot of people standing around waiting for their food.
If you are in a hurry or on a lunch break, I would strongly suggest avoiding this place.
Got their “Original Orange Chicken” over fried rice. Food was rather mediocre. The chicken that was supposed to be “orange chicken” had barely any flavor other than just chicken and a little bit of spice. No orange flavor AT ALL! Some of the chicken pieces also tasted burnt.
Rather disappointing. The fried rice was bland and soggy.
The only saving grace to this visit was Fran, the young lady that handed me my food. She was working her tail off, getting orders out to people, and did a great job with a very genuine smile and friendly attitude.
I really DID want to give this place a better rating.
All this to say, I think I will just stick with Happy Garden down the street. The food there is much more flavorful and I get it in a timely manner.
Update from 6/12: I decided to get the orange chicken from Happy Garden Chinese Restaurant down the street and added the pic here. As I suspected, the food from Happy Garden is FAR superior to the food I got at Panda Express! The orange chicken from Happy Garden is 100 times more flavorful and I didn’t have to wait over a half hour to get it. To me, the choice is clear.

Henry provided outstanding service. He was welcoming, friendly, and made the whole visit feel positive. I accidentally spilled my drink, and he immediately stepped in to clean it up with a smile and reassured me it was no problem. That level of kindness and professionalism is rare—he’s one of the best fast food employees I’ve dealt with. He truly made my day!

I’ve never had such a pleasant experience with workers before. 10/10 customer service. Great food! And a great place to get late night munchies.

I had ordered from Panda Express on 6/12/25 and the food was horrible. I ordered chow mein which was burnt and dry the beef and broccoli all I got was one beef strip all broccoli which also had a off taste to it. The walnuts in the walnut shrimp were burnt. $13 meal for it to all go in the trash. Don’t waste your time or money here!

Tried this twice, once when it opened and today. I’ve never had Asian food this awful. WAY overpriced for the portions. Food was lukewarm via drive thru. Sesame shrimp and chicken was so very spicy, yet had no actual flavor. Fried rice was bland mush rice with barely cooked veggies. Drive thru hostess was rude and rushed on the order. Better food down the road at Haiku or even the place at Elizabeth Ave.
You can keep that…..

DON’T EAT AT THE PANDA EXPRESS ON 5th ST HIGHWAY.

Yesterday around 11ish i had ordered food from them and I’ve been puking since then. I had called the restaurant to inform them and of course management had every excuse in the book stating they check this and that….im pretty positive that the fried shrimp was the cause and I’m 1000% sure they don’t change the oil as often as it should be. I was fine before eating it and after I’ve been puking and my stomach is sore. I’ve posted this on my personal page and few of my friends told me they had upset stomach issues after eating from them. Place is over hyped

Not sure how’s that possible they have so many 1 stars when food is great, coming here almost every day, I’d expect it’s a competitors or something.
The only problem is that I’m gaining to much weight.
Atmosphere is great, people are super nice.

This is my 3rd or 4th time going here. Sides are oook, but what I really like is the walnut shrimp (hence me coming back). They will get my returned business because of the shrimp and being very accommodating. I ordered through that drive-through, and they got my order wrong (I ordered 2 servings of walnut shrimp and 1 wok fire shrimp. Don’t eat meat). Noticed when I got home and opened my food. Called (had to called twice but the answered), and they immediately refunded my money (of course, they needed the order number from the receipt)
