Went for Chicago Restaurant Week and it absolutely met my expectations. Started with the tuna crudo and had the scallops for main. Everything was fresh, well-balanced, and beautifully plated.
Special shout-out to our server Kevin. Super hospitable, attentive without hovering, and genuinely made the night feel welcoming. Would definitely come back!

Just fantastic. First off, the restaurant is beautiful. So warm and inviting and colorful. Then, the service. Bobby, our waiter, was about as professional, courteous, and friendly as they come. Great recommendations and attentive throughout our meal. Now, the food: delicious. I sampled the scallops, gnocchi, and mussels for mains and each was amazing. My only real knock is the temperature. We could see the food being made, it came out fast, and yet the temperature of the gnocchi and scallops could have been better/hotter. But again – that is nitpicking. Entrees were great, appetizers as well, and overall, just a wonderful experience, especially to celebrate a special occasion. Highly recommend.

We spent New Year’s Eve here and had a very nice experience. The prix fixe menu offered by the restaurant was good. The dishes came out a bit quickly, likely due to the occasion, which caused some minor order mix-ups. However, the staff resolved them efficiently.
Everything was delicious and very fresh — especially the tuna. The festive atmosphere was noticeable, and it’s a place I’d recommend for both family gatherings and date nights.
Bonus: the venue has a mirror on the first floor specifically for photos, which is a fun touch.

From the moment we sat down, the staff were amazing and the food completely delivered. We couldn’t stop talking about the French fries and the béarnaise-covered filet — both unreal. They were also hosting a special collaboration with Prime & Provisions (another Chicago steak favorite), which made the night feel extra special. Perfect spot for a girls’ night out, with fabulous cocktails to match. Huge shoutout to Erika and Bobby for taking such great care of us. We’ll definitely be back! ✨

Just finished dinner at La Serre, and I couldn’t wait to write this review because I was truly impressed. The interior is beautifully decorated, and the warm welcome made the experience even better from the start. Every dish I ordered came out perfectly especially the Linguine Clams and the Duck Chinoise, both full of flavor and very well executed.
The only downside was that the waiting time for the food was a bit long, but it was acceptable and didn’t take away from the overall experience. Definitely a place worth visiting!

Bravo to the lamb chops man. All food was outstanding and would return. Perfect for date night. Husband says he had the best lamb chops he’s ever had. Make sure to also get the crème brûlée French toast for dessert.

The fondue appetizer was absolutely amazing—so good that I’ll be ordering it every single time I go back. For my entrée, I had the fusilli pasta, which was incredible and packed with flavor. It did have a bit of a spicy kick, but honestly, I’d still order it again without hesitation. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, and the food alone is worth the visit.

Delicious, refined, and authentically French. We started with a warm, crusty baguette and a deeply flavored onion soup, then shared a beautifully rendered duck confit—crisp skin, tender meat, balanced sauce. Portions are modest but rich, and the pacing of courses was perfect. The wine pairings were on point, and the crème brûlée had that ideal glass-thin crackle. Cozy ambience, low music, and gracious service. Prices match the quality. We’ll be back—and recommend reserving for dinner.
