A great stop to sit down for a quick homemade breakfast or lunch in the Westtown Amish Market. We come to Westtown about once a month and have always had delightful experiences here at H&L!
We enjoyed lunch on our most recent visit. My wife had a corned beef sandwich, while I enjoyed the fried fish sandwich with lettuce and tomato. Both meals came with a pickle and potato chips on the side but we chose to upgrade to fries for an extra $3. (As you can see from the photos, we were each offered a generous helping of fries we couldn’t finish!)
Our waitress was so kind and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed at least twice. We look forward to our next visit!

Went here with a friend and had a spectacular breakfast. We sat at the counter so we didn’t have to wait for a booth. The staff were really nice. The menu was huge. The food was delicious.
I had a perfectly cooked omelet, hash browns and sausage gravy. The hash browns are pretty unique; I recommend them.
If you are in the area, this is really an awesome spot.

We were in the area and hungry, so decided to stop in for lunch. After leaving we wondered why we haven’t stopped in for lunch before. We love the large Amish Market where it’s located, but always come in for the meats and the yummy baked goods.
The Service at H&L Grill is energetic and attentive, the food is generous and delicious. My tomato wrap BLT was the best. In addition, the low prices make you think you’re in the 1990s.
The only negative is because it’s located in the middle of an Amish Market, and in particular, across from the doughnut and baked goods area, there’s no way you’re leaving without a large bag of doughnuts and/or pies.

I am honestly surprised that there are not more reviews. I guess people just search for Westtown Amish Market, but this place truly deserves a good review for its great food and service.

This Grill is in The Amish Market. They have table service plus service at the Counter. I had breakfast on Friday and Saturday while getting my car inspected down the road. The quality of the food was not only good, but also tasty. The jelly on the Counter was also very good. Will be back.

Have had 2 poor breakfasts here…this mornings will be my last.
The young ladies cooking just cannot grasp the concept of loose/soft scrambled eggs…my order went back, and came back to me well done again. And the homefries were lackluster. , Furthermore. while sitting at the counter, I noticed that the ladies putting a large can of canned, sliced potatoes into the deep fryer…this is what they r using for homefries! and not even a dusting of seasoning on them directly out of the fryer…that may have saved them. Shameful imho that they r using canned potatoes.

Absolutely delicious! Stopped for lunch and got the chicken bacon wrap made with homemade ranch, and a hand squeezed lemonade! Met with friendly faces. 🙂
