I feel they do outstanding pan and deep dish pizzas with the caramelized cheese crust, and while the thin is decent, there are better thin crust pizzas nearby for less.

Ordered a deep dish pizza, and the dough was uncooked. There was a very thin layer on the bottom that was cooked and then between a quarter of an inch and a half an inch of uncooked, dough. Everyone eating it realized this after the first bite. We called to let them know and they offered to make another one, 45 minutes later we got another pizza, brought it home and it has the same exact issue, uncooked dough. Unbelievable that this happened twice in a row. I’ve been eating tortirices for about 2 decades from this location, usually on weekends, and never had a problem, however after talking to family who eats tortirices they says you can never get it on weekdays they have had the same issues multiple times as well, but never had this problem on the weekends. This makes very little sense but either the folks who work on the weekdays don’t know how to make the dough or they don’t cook it long enough but apparently this is common occurrence. Wasted 2 hours trying to get dinner for my family and ended up wasting 30 dollars, won’t be going back, very disappointing.

Got delivery and the pizza had no seasoning. The breadsticks were literally just that— bread. Way too expensive when we could have gotten better tasting pizza at a chain or from the grocery store. The delivery man was very nice, though.

This is Tortorice’s BLT pizza on Dundee Rd in Buffalo Grove. Very disappointed. Obviously tried a couple pieces between the two of us. Not impressed at all. IDK if this is the same owner of the one in Arlington heights off central. But never had a problem there.
Mug’s and Nachos BLT pizza blows Tortorice’s BLT pizza out of the water.

I ordered a rib and shrimp dinner, with three side sauces and two desserts. They sent one dessert, missed a sauce, and one sauce was wrong. I’m house sitting with a sick child and I called and they refused to redeliver the missing ingredients. Said the manager that handles problems was not there and the cook said that he put everything in. I asked that they please redeliver because I was 3 blocks away. They told me they only had one driver and couldn’t. We ended up arguing because the person on the phone was so incredibly rude. They told me to come in and I explained again. Of course I paid cash. I think this happened the last time I housesat. Beware of these people they do not tell the truth. And kept my money. The tirimisu was frozen, and the shrimp over cooked.

Their prices have gone up $2 since last week, to the point where a one-topping 18” pizza is over $30 with tax. Combined with the fact that they’re only open until 8pm even on weekends, and it’s clear they’ll be going out of business very soon. Do yourself a favor and go to the location in Arlington Heights/Mount Prospect instead.

Best pizza in the northwest suburbs. Been a long time customer and will continue to be one. Have not had any issues only great food. If you do delivery, order through the main site and not through other delivery services…let’s keep our neighborhood gems thriving for years to come. Try the Picasso pizza…the best!!
