I will not be returning to this place after seeing their cook/helper not wash his hands after using the public restroom next to their stand. I saw a Hispanic man wearing a baseball cap around 5’6 or 5’7 come out of the stalls when I went to wash my hands. He continued to walk out while browsing on his phone. I thought he might just be one of the patrons. However, as I left the restroom and looked to my right, I saw him behind the counter helping one of the servers. That’s when it clicked, and I remembered him refilling the chow mein last time my wife and I were there on a busy Saturday. I assume he’s the helper/cook since he was refilling the dishes during rush hour.
Their service is good and the food adequate, so it’s a shame that I had to see that.

Cold and stale orange chicken, cold noodles and the worst pepper steak ive ever had I genuinely dont think its even real steak. Threw out my side of pepper steak, already left the mall so didnt go back for my money. It’s literally 5:30pm why are you serving cold and nasty food.

I have no clue why this place has such a low rating I work at a fragrance store in woodfield mall and I eat here every single day. The proportions are big as you can see and the price for the meal is on par with the rest of the mall at a little under 20 bucks if you are an mall employee a little over 20 if you are a general customer . The staff is super nice and wonderful . I highly recommend this place.

Worst food I put in my mouth! The fried rice tasted like the smell of a petting zoo. I couldn’t finish it, almost puked. The orange chicken was okay besides the fact that its drenched in the sauce. I dont recommend it, not even to my worst enemy.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by the lady managing your stall. She is impatient, rude, and constantly tries to rush everything, showing zero patience or willingness to answer questions. When she gets confused or doesn’t listen, she becomes even more rude and dismissive. Because of her behavior, I will never be eating here again.

Despite their posted hours, their food is never ready when they open, and this has been a regular occurrence since we visit the mall frequently. You can expect to be met with an often ornery staff who “dont know” when the food will be ready (seriously, that is the answer you get from staff members). This has happened at least three times which is why I decided to write a review. I’m not even in food service, but food should be ready when you open otherwise you run the risk of losing business, right? Don’t let this business disregard you or your family’s time, and check out the many delicious options at Woodfield, including a competing stop who also make delicious fried rice, orange and bourbon chicken.

Food was good till I found a chunk of chicken raw… like still red blood in it and still cold. Had to talk to 3 people before anything was offered to be done about it and had to fight the guy to give me my money back. I did eat about 1/2 of it before I found the raw part and it was good but the cold raw chicken ruined my appetite. He
finally caved when I asked what he was going to do if I got sick. It was clearly raw and he acknowledged it but still gave me a hard time. Take your money elsewhere…. should have checked the reviews prior to ordering and would have seen the 2 star review.
