The employees here are a complete joke. The young man at the front was rude from the very start when I simply asked for extra sauce on my sandwich. He handed us our food, gave us a bag, and told us to “bag it yourself,” even though he was standing there doing absolutely nothing. On top of that, the large fries we ordered weren’t even half full. When I asked if they could be filled properly, he said, “They’re larges already.” I responded that they were half-full larges. He then filled them, handed them back, and made a snarky comment saying not to expect them to be filled next time, followed by a sarcastic “hope you have a better day.”
Management seriously needs to address this behavior. If he hates his job that much, he shouldn’t be anywhere near customer service. Burger King, do better.

Fries were old and cold mixed with hot fries. Cheese on sandwich was cold and I don’t know why they didn’t microwave the burger just a couple of seconds so cheese would be melted. It’s not rocket science people. The travel plaza was nice though.

I knew there was trouble when I saw a large number of people standing around waiting for their orders. One of the things we ordered was a chicken sandwich with no mayo. After waiting almost 20 minutes for our order to be ready I was horrified to see that he never wrote that down on our ticket. Miraculously there was no mayo on the sandwich. We figure they just messed up.
When our food came it wasn’t even hot. I’m not partial to Burger King but the food here was sub-par for my expectations. The fries were completely tasteless.
I wish I could have gone elsewhere but all of the other food vendors were closed and there was nothing to eat at the 7/11.

Avoid here during lunch at all cost. Burger King and Popeyes completely understaffed. People waiting a hour for food. Any time someone got food the mob of people waiting cheered for them. Keep Driving!!!

Absolutely awful. Super slow. 20 min waiting to get a few crappy sandwiches. Overpriced – almost $15 per meal for this total garbage. Got half the order wrong and we got wrong items. The food, if it can be called that here, is disgusting and inedible. Not much of a choice when on the road, but this dump is to be avoided. Beyond horrible, even for a Burger King.

WORST Burger King I have ever seen. The food took forever and the workers are unsanitary. While I was standing and waiting for my burger, I watched the guy making the food touch raw meat and then proceed to make sandwiches WITHOUT changing his gloves. This was after he used his hands in the same gloves to pull up his pants and wipe his sweaty forehead. This is gross cross contamination that could honestly poison people making them sick or worse. No way I was eating anything that came from that guy. I told the manager, who did refund my money- but I wonder who someone can even work in food service with such a lack of safety practices. I understand short staffing- but that is NOT an excuse for poor sanitation practices. It is a shame, as eating at the service plaza is so much easier than getting off the turnpike- but do yourself a favor and take the time to exit at Somerset and find any other fast food joint!
