The pizza had a bit of grease on top, but honestly, it didn’t take away from how tasty it was . The crust was flavorful, the toppings were generous, and every bite was satisfying. We found ourselves slowing down just to really enjoy all the flavors. The Brooklyn sandwich was packed and delicious, and the eggplant slider was a pleasant surprise — full of flavor and perfectly prepared .
Overall, the food quality completely lived up to the hype. It was absolutely worth the wait, and we already knew before leaving that we’d be back soon to explore more of the menu ️✨.
Update: We returned just a few days later and tried a different pizza — and it was just as incredible, with noticeably less grease this time . Safe to say this place has officially become our new go-to spot whenever we’re in the area to catch a movie at the theater ❤️.
The pizza did have a noticeable amount of grease, it did not detract from its overall deliciousness. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite and found ourselves savoring the flavors from all the dishes we ordered. It is safe to say that we will be returning to this establishment in the near future to explore the other options available.
In conclusion, our visit to this establishment was well worth the wait. The quality of the food, despite the slight greasiness of the pizza, was outstanding. We eagerly anticipate our next visit to further indulge in the diverse menu offerings.
Update: We decided to come back a few days after our initial visit and tried a different pizza and it was still amazing and didn’t have as much of grease as the first time. This is our new favorite spot to come when we visit to watch a movie at the theater.
If you are missing New York food, this is definitely the place to go to.
We have ordered their “ Garlic knots “ – very fresh and flavorful. Then we had: A “ Mega Meat pizza “ – highly recommended for all meat lovers. A “ Loaded Bianca “ and a “ Calzone Pizza “ – a must try for cheese lovers! So cheesy and crispy crust just go perfectly together.
We also had one of their delicious sandwiches- “ A Brooklyn sandwich “ – freshly sliced deli meats on a fresh daily baked bread .
And for the dessert we had “ Cannolis “ – freshly made waffles filled with delicious cream and pecans / A must have, can’t recommend it enough , tasty !!! Yummy!!!
The portions are pretty big and they are so filling that you can’t eat it all at once.
We can honestly say this was some of the best Italian food we have had in this city! Definitely better than the most popular “fancy “ places.
The service was exceptional as well.
Everyone was extremely inviting , happy and attentive . We have met the owner and he was super friendly, genuine and welcoming .
Thank you so much for the wonderful dinning experience. It was such a pleasure meeting you and your staff.
We highly recommend this a new family style Italian restaurant where you can feel like you are a family member, eat delicious Italian food and have a great time!
Been here at least 20 times. I have yet to find a better pizza. Ingredients are always perfect. Good Crust is is hard to find. Here, it’s consistent between Very Good and Amazing. Thanks Guys!
Food:
#31 Brooklyn Sandwich
Caesar Salad
The sandwich was so good. The bread was soft, and I loved the balsamic glaze. It was like having a caprese sandwich. I enjoyed the meats and arugula.
I’ll stop by again and try different items on the menu.
Since we ate here on a Monday evening, the restaurant wasn’t busy at all which is always great, especially when you’re starving. The décor in this restaurant is nice and it helps that it’s right next to the sports area since the majority of the view from the restaurant are the giant screens to watch whatever game/race is televised. There were a respectable amount of tables/seats in this restaurant and even if the place is full, there’s so many places you could sit and eat your food in Santa Fe Station.
We ordered the #45 Lobster Ravioli, #7 Stallone’s Chopped Salad, #24 Calzone with Prosciutto, Pineapple, and Red Onions (basically The 9th Island Pizza, but in a Calzone form); #28 Queens Super Hero Sandwich with Lettuce and Tomatoes, special slice of pie (Pepperoni Pizza), and #5 Deez Knots. For the most part, everything was good…especially the Queens Super Hero Sandwich and Deez Knots; however, I can’t say the same about the Lobster Ravioli and the Chopped Salad. The Lobster Ravioli wasn’t awful by any means but I can honestly say that my family and I have had better at other Italian restaurants in this city. As for the salad, I was a little bummed that the mixed greens didn’t look or taste as fresh as expected. We still ate about 50-60% of it because the flavors from the other ingredients were still magnificent.
The employees on shift were great – I was amazed and appreciative on how fast the food preparers operated. The price-to-quantity/quality ratio was reasonable and I highly respect this business for supporting the active men and women of the Armed Forces, to include its Veterans…thank you for that! If you’re in the area or just in the mood to try a new Italian restaurant, I recommend this place to you. I’m sure I’ll be back in the near future because there were other menu items I wanted to try.
