We’ve visited Knife in the barn district on several occasions, and it’s been an outstanding experience every time. Specifically, we’ve enjoyed the breakfast/brunch experience. The atmosphere is delightful and airy, and the food is delicious.
We’ve tried a variety of items on the menu, and all have been excellent. My personal favorite is the breakfast sandwich. The bacon is thick, crispy, and delicious. The tastes and textures throughout the sandwich are beautiful. The perfectly cooked eggs, paired with thick & crispy bacon, are blanketed with delectable aioli and cheddar cheese. And if that’s not enough for a combination of flavors, all of this is sandwiched between the fresh (and not too heavy) choagie bun.
Overall, this is a highly recommended eatery.

I always compare price to portion to quality of food, yes you are paying more than $10 to get a sandwich but you are getting a phenomenal sandwich. The portions are large and filling. Shaggy, the man who served us, was incredibly friendly and took great care of us. It’s an incredibly clean and friendly atmosphere and we are excited to return.
