Il bucato was fabulous. It is now state pizza. We tried for the first time last night and we got the supreme. I have to say for the price it just isn’t worth it. The pizza wasn’t bad but for $22 it better be great. Il bucato has interesting and original pizza like the cherry pie. State pizza has none of that. Very basic menu. Disappointed, Il bucato was way better.

Placed a to go order at this establishment this evening. Decided to try a couple of their menu options. I had the Pork Trio Pizza with added red onions. The pizza was fresh, full of flavor, and the crust was crispy and delicious! I also tried their Meatball Sub. The sub was delicious, I also added the banana peppers, and the extra sauce which gave it more flavor. The service was good. This is a order and pickup establishment.

We carried out the salad/pizza combo for dinner with their signature pizza (meat and veggies).
Pizza was delicious. The red sauce was super flavorful and cheese was really good (not greasy at all). The crust held up well even after steaming in the box for the 20 minute drive home. Springy but not soggy in the middle with a crisp crust. The toppings were good, I prefer sharper onions, but my wife really liked the sweeter onions on this pie.
Salad was fresh and crisp with a yummy house dressing.
Il bucato is one of the best carry out pizzas I’ve had in Columbia. Going to have to try their sandwiches next!

Yummy delicious homemade tasting pizza with many varieties and options to what you like. Nice staff clean and hand your pizza to you outside so that way both can be safe from germs. Prices vary but worth it you won’t regret. Call ins at this time until COVID is no more.

Got a pizza at this place for the very first time since I have been here. I am italian and this pizza reminded me home… ingredients were fresh and the pizza was cooked perfectly.
Also Staff members were super kind.
For what you get the price is right (the pizza is huge). Sadly is just a pick up place… they should open a restaurant . Really recommended.

This was our families first visit for pizza. I can’t say enough good things about this pizza and the owners. Very creative and delicious fresh toppings. The fresh bread with marinara was absolutely amazing and definitely a must order! Support this small business and have the best pizza.. in every place I’ve ever been (including NY).

Il Bucato is still closed as of September 5, 2025. Not sure if this permanent, but sure seems so. No one answers the telephone and the online order form says that the location is not accepting orders. It also states that they will be reopening on August 2. Very disappointed since I thought they had the best pizza in Columbia.

Oh man, this place is what Forest Acres was missing! The pizza is so delicious and made of high quality ingredients. If you like spicy, give the spicy calabrese a try, you won’t be disappointed!
