Unbelievable Grinder! The chicken was juicy and tender and there was lots of it! The truly amazing thing was that a small grinder was only $8 with no tax. And a nice portion size at that. Unheard of!! This is why going local can really pay off! Quick, efficient, and friendly customer service! An absolute gem that’s been here almost 60 years here in New London! I will certainly be back! ✌️☺️ ❤️

The grinders are good and reasonable. But, I went in to order a pepperoni grinder and was told they were out of pepperoni. They had a roll in the deli cooler do i said what about that? The woman said it isn’t cut. Well I was the only one in the store, you’d think she could cut it and make a sale. I guess not, I won’t ne back.

This is the quintessential Italian mom and pop grinder shop in New London. Sonny and Lucy Pezzello have been there since 1969. Grinders are fabulous, crusty or soft rolls, and Thursdays are sesame seed rolls! Staff is ALWAYS welcoming. When going to the beach in the summer, they are open early, call in your order and have the best picnic on the beach! One caveat: Cash Only.

Stopped here with my husband randomly the day after our wedding on our way out of town, and had the pleasure of meeting Nisa as we walked up to the store. The grinders were fantastic, but the service was even better. It was our first meal alone as a married couple and we could taste the love in every bite.
