Do not select Seamless when choosing a pick up option when ordering. The price I paid was $133 and it felt wrong… later i checked their actual website and saw the ACTUAL cost on their website should have been $56. 4 sandwiches and 3 sides $133… unbelievable. And they dont even know how to handle the “Seamless” Pick up option when they get it. So more than 2x the price. Will NEVER order from here again. Food quality was poor. Im frustrated they are partners with a company that triples cost for online orders. This business needs to go. Definitely go to Craving Gyros.

the inside is tiny but my family of 5 lucked out and got the front table. Service was patient and kind with my kids. hand cut fries are delicious. Gyros was everything it should be. Quality hot dog, and an amazing tuna melt Friday special (on a fantastic marble rye). you can tell there is pride and love in that place. everyone but us was a regular. Highly recommend take out.

Even though they have relocated the homemade fresh cut fries are worth the trip. Great daily specials.Had a bacon cheeseburger, so tasty. The italian beef tasty with great flavour in gravy. Ordered the fresh cut fries with cheese. Very happy, full customer. It is such a must eat at or take out when you are in Lake Zurich. Eating at Kookers is like a home cooked meal with a warm hug. Great mom & pop shop that unfortunately feels hindered by location. Parking is hideous as it’s close to the road and for the most part, shared among 2-3 other restaurants.
Since trying my first order, I can’t guarantee a 100% awesome meal from this restaurant. You really get what you pay for, though from time to time it seems like it’s one of the three of it being overcooked, too salty, or flat out too much sauce. (Please taste test your food!)
My favorites out of getting my fill have so far been the meatball sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich. The meatballs in the sandwich are flat out massive and they need to be cut in half at times unless your jaw wants to be sore. The pulled pork was great, but you could visibly see the doneness on the bun.
The part that irks me a lot is that all of them are wrapped in a way that turns them into sweaty messes. I wouldn’t mind if the burgers or hotdogs had time to rest, but every time I order anything, the condiments are caked onto the bread.
They serve tasty comfort food deals during the week. Had a roast beef a while back, and would love to catch a chance with ordering from here again once Covid-19 is over.

We really enjoyed the Greek salad, Italian beef, hot dogs and fries kids meal. My 4 yr old said, “wow this is way better than your cooking mom and dad” lol. Wait time for food about 15 min in early evening on Tuesday.

Kooker’s catered my recent party at the American Legion in Lake Zurich, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! We ordered Italian beef sandwiches, Chicago-style hot dogs, pasta salad, potato salad, coleslaw, and baked beans—and everything was a hit. They arrived on time, were courteous and professional throughout the entire process, and even accommodated a 20% increase in my RSVP count during the final week.
My guests couldn’t stop raving about the food and even asked where it came from so they could visit Kooker’s themselves. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly prepared. I highly recommend Kooker’s for any catering needs—they made my party stress-free and delicious!
