had such a wonderful experience at Sugar Doodles Ice Cream Shop! From the moment we walked in, John made us feel incredibly welcomed. He was warm, friendly, and went out of his way to make sure our visit was outstanding. It’s not every day you get that kind of customer service, it truly made our day!
The ice cream? Out of this world! Every flavor we tried was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. But the real surprise was the bubble waffles, it was our first time trying them, and we are absolutely in love! They’re fun, tasty, and the perfect match for the ice cream.
The shop itself was spotless and had such a fresh, clean scent throughout. It’s clearly well taken care of, which makes enjoying your treat even more pleasant.
As a dog lover, I can’t get over how cute it is that they offer treats for dogs too! I’ll definitely be back soon, not just for more amazing ice cream, but to grab a doggie birthday treat as well.
A huge bonus: they sell Smith Island Cake, which you can only get in Maryland. If you haven’t tried this delicious layered cake, you’re missing out, John says it’s a must have! We will be trying that cake also the next time around.
Sugar Doodles is a gem. Between the amazing treats, the welcoming atmosphere, and the incredible service, I can’t recommend it enough. We’ll definitely be back!

What delicious ice cream! My husband and I made an impromptu visit here while passing through town. We got the flight of 4 flavors. The peach was my favorite and the apple pie was my husband’s favorite. But the key lime pie and the chocolate chip cookie dough were close seconds! The staff was friendly and they offer both indoor and outdoor seating in a very cute atmosphere.

I’ve always come here specifically for the very very waffle. It had always been very good, but I think the girl who served us had no experience, and the result was disastrous. Very, very disappointed. I couldn’t even eat it. 200 Castle Marina Rd, Chester, MD 21619 ,On Thursday the 23rd, between 1 and 2 p.m., I didn’t want to be rude or make hurtful comments to the girl because, after all, she was probably doing her best, but I paid $26 for two of these, and believe me, the one in the photo was the better looking one. I don’t think I need to say anything else. You, as the owner, know that this is anything but a “very very berry”.

It’s such a cute place to enjoy a sweet treat. They even have a nice outdoor area to relax while eating. I enjoyed my traditional acai bowl. I had a chance to chat with the pretty cool owner.

Definitely worth the stop. Off the beaten path, this locally owned farm to face icecream and sweets shop is so delicious! I paid $6.50 for a milkshake and didn’t complain becuase it was totally worth every sip. Love the little park out back to sit and chill.
