We’ve ordered from here consistently, especially on Fridays for my son. In the past, the owner would call if I was running late to pick up. At first I assumed it was good customer service, but over time it began to feel more like being questioned about my whereabouts rather than genuine courtesy.
This last visit was the final straw. My husband went in and paid for our order and was told it would be five minutes. After waiting well over that, I went inside and was immediately asked for my phone number in a tone that felt accusatory as if I was trying to take food that wasn’t mine. We are regular customers. That interaction was unnecessary and disrespectful.
When I asked about customer service and loyalty, the response was dismissive and the bag of food was tossed toward me.
Customer service is about respect. Unfortunately, that was lacking. There are many other restaurants in the area that treat customers better. We won’t be returning.

J & C Cuisine exceeded my expectations! The service was excellent, and the food was fantastic. I tried some sushi, which was delicious, and I ordered the Dragon and Phoenix dish, which was cooked to perfection. This was my first Asian restaurant experience since moving to Delaware, and it did not disappoint. I will definitely be returning!

Absolutely the worst ive experienced. Customer service terrible, I was refused service for asking if I can order just chicken only….then 3 staff members got aggressive and said come back in as if they wanted to fight…ill never go back…and they should not be in business with that mindset. They were very ignorant and disrespectful, middle fingers through through door. I travel all over the country and within the local states, ive never experienced this!!!

Horrible. My first time ordered a salmon skin roll at this place. It tasted spoiled and fishy. It was INEDIBLE. I wasted my money because I had to throw the sushi in the trash. I had salmon skin roll at other places before and it was nothing like this one. This is the only salmon skin roll that I have ever tasted that was very disgusting. I vomited when I had one bite. On top of that, the rest of the sushi that I ordered like eel cucumber and shrimp tempura tasted horrible as well. The WORST sushi I have ever had in my entire life. I knew what sushi supposed to taste like..I used to work at a sushi restaurant for 7 years. The owner making it seemed like I don’t know what I’m talking about. It just them, they have horrible sushi. They used a very cheap quality of rice. Their fish tasted spoiled. It tasted like it went bad already but they still serving it. I hope someone check this place for inspection because it seemed like they use a SPOILED fish. I called the place to tell them that the salmon skin roll tasted spoiled but instead of replacing my order. He made excuses and was being rude. The worker at this place is very rude. I will NOT recommend this place. You better off get a sushi somewhere or you will waste your money at this place. If I could give this place a ZERO star, I will because they don’t even deserve one star. They make HORRIBLE sushi and a HEALTH HAZARD please.

I went back to J and C Chinese restaurant this afternoon to return some egg Fung that was burnt. MIne and my wife’s order. I was told i was only going to get back half my money back which should have been $17 and change. Then he started nickel and diming me because I didn’t bring back the gravy and the rice. He was only going to give me $13.90 back. I said whatever. Once that was finished, the young man told me not to ever order egg foo young again. I told him he didn’t have to worry because I wasn’t coming back. He said good. I told him for 13 years, I’ve been doing service with him and I’ve never had this problem before. But this is how you’re going to treat me then I’m fine with it. Just give me back my money. 9/13/2025

I order food from you very often. Generally the food is fine. Today I ordered a lunch special; 3 Maki rolls with miso soup. The soup was spoiled. It was smelly and extremely sour, it was not edible. I’d like to keep on ordering food from you, just don’t give me spoiled food. Thx.
