Cozy, clean, and relaxing atmosphere. The guy who was operating the espresso machine was super nice. Lots of options, but not overwhelming. This shop reminded me of my time in Mexico and they even put some hot sauce on my avocado toast that I have only ever had in Mexico.
The regular latte I would definitely get with flavor next time but the decaf latte was the best that I have ever had. We also got a pour over of the light roast and it was pretty decent.
I got my wife a T-shirt, but they were sold out of my size.

Obviously the coffee is way better than any chain coffee places. Besides that they have a great staff. Very helpful and very kind. Such a cute shop. A great place to sit or pick up something to go. I will definitely be going back to try more of their offerings

I don’t even know where to begin. I’ve visited Hola cafecito a handful of times and each time my experience was even better than the last. My coffees have always been tasty, smooth and delicious. I always end up wishing I had bought two of the same drink lol. One of my most recent visits had me even more amazed. I have a 4 year old and a newborn baby. I took my mother in law for her first time and once again the coffee was great and their avocado toast was delicious! She loved her cafe de olla and pan de elote. Buuut my newborn of course had a blowout and I had nowhere to change him. I asked if I could use their restroom to change him but unfortunately they don’t have a changing table. That however was no problem! I believe it was the owner who allowed me to use their break room and change him there on their futon. I was and still am so thankful!!! I went back yesterday and went a little crazy on purchasing stuff haha (I woke up this morning already wanting to go back) I will definitely continue to visit Hola cafecito! Not only is their coffee, pastries and food amazing…their hospitality is as well!
Another thing to add is my 4 year old loves their brownies and apple juice. There you go! Different age groups whom all have enjoyed Hola cafecito ❤️

Hola Cafecito is a great place to sit and enjoy a good cup of coffee. I have been delighted with the coffee drinks I have sampled. Their food is delicious. The place is very busy and the decor and atmosphere are quite pleasant. All in all, a nice experience.

I’ve been here about 3 times and everytime it was a lovely experience. The Atmosphere is beautiful and inviting. I met the Owner and introduced myself because the coffee I had was much like my Grandma’s. He recommended the avocado toast and it was delicious and the presentation was beautiful! Today a young lady recommended Coyota Guava ( a guava filled pastry not too sweet ) & Iced Oaxacan Mocha, I usually have the Oaxacan Mocha hot. Alot of Picture opportunities if you like to post your food or drinks. They literally make everything look so presentable and beautiful! The restroom was clean and many UC and college students were on their laptops. Their is quite a bit of foot traffic. A lot of people love it there! I really love the fresh flowers You definitely need to visit this place in downtown Merced!

So glad this friendly place opened in Merced! The interior was so cute, and all the drinks and food on the menu look so delicious! Definitely everything here is aesthetic! Despite the long line, the workers here are pretty experienced and finished my drinks probably just 3 min after I ordered! Check this place out and keep supporting small businesses!!! The Cafe con Leche was great and pleasant, and the Matcha was truly high quality!

Local coffee is always good, but this one! Wowzers! DELICIOUS!! I got the Cafe Con Leche two different times. I tried it both iced with cold foam & hot. Both were so very good! I also tried the chocolate muffin & it was yummy!

Amazing coffee, food, atmosphere and owners! So sad to see these recent reviews! Creating a welcoming environment for questions and dialogue instead of adding to the division should be celebrated not reprimanded with unwarranted bad reviews.
