Ordered Carreta’s plate. This was made for someone like me! A little bit of everything. Always ordered tacos but tried this plate and I liked it. The tamale I had was one of the best I’ve eaten. Also got a tamal de elote. The ladies are super nice.

We were very excited to see that there was a pupuseria food truck in town, and the person who took our order was nice, but we were VERY disappointed with the food. I got bean and cheese and spinach and cheese pupusas and my husband got pork and birria pupusas. None had any flavor (crazy!) and all were TOTALLY greasy (even after blotting with napkins) and actually burned in places, enough that we had to tear those pieces off. Never had any pupusas like these before! The curtido (cabbage side) was ok except it had none of the usual spiciness. They gave us a liquid salsa, but it would have made everything sopping so we never tried it. All in all, a one star meal, unfortunately.
