Everyone in this place is very friendly. Love the Janis Joplin memorabilia displayed inside. The hot ham and cheese sandwich is yummy! Good old fashioned home cooked diner food is what you’ll find here.

Absolutely delicious!!! I had a steak dinner, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from a “diner” type place, but it was so very good, I ATE IT ALL!!!!! And their mushroom soup… I seriously regret not getting a gallon to take home! The wait staff was also fast and courteous and helped me with some recommendations!

Had baked chicken dinner. Chicken was good, baked potato. Canned cranberry sauce I can tolerate, same goes for the frozen vegetables. But iced tea from a mix is more than I can bear. Waitress rushed me and brought the check without offering me dessert, I asked anyway and got banana cream pie which was good.

Honestly, I love the food and atmosphere here, but if you work for a living, dont plan on ever tasting a bite. They are NEVER OPEN. Maybe like 4 hours a day. How does this business survive in such a small town?

Ron’s was just fine. The service was friendly, and they even had a veggie burger on the menu. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there, but if in Plainfield and looking for food, it’s a good choice!
