Medium sized sports bar with plenty of television screens. Decent amount of tables and video gaming in the back if you like that sort of thing. The food was alright (typical bar fare) but the $3 Guinness beer is a big hit.

Coach’s Bar & Grill is a chill neighborhood spot with pool, karaoke, and a cozy, laid-back vibe. I tried the pretzel bites and steak & fries—pretzels were solid, but the steak came out a bit dry. Drinks are cheap (like $3 Guinness!), and the karaoke nights bring in a fun crowd. We had a blast. Staff was friendly and fast, just don’t expect anything fancy food-wise. We came for the vibe.

There’s something special about walking into a bar and immediately feeling like you belong — and that’s exactly what happens every time Izzy’s behind the bar at Coach’s. She’s not just a bartender; she’s the soul of the room. Always attentive without hovering, she somehow manages to keep every drink perfectly timed, every conversation warm, and every guest feeling like they’re a regular. Izzy has this effortlessly pleasing personality that draws you in — whether you’re coming in for a quick beer or staying for hours, she makes you feel right at home. Coach’s is great, but Izzy? She’s the reason it feels like your place too.

Izzy is the reason I keep coming back to Coach’s. She’s super attentive, makes everyone feel welcome, and has this energy that instantly puts you at ease. The drinks are great, but she’s the real highlight.

Very disappointed that I went to this “sports bar” to watch game 7 of the 2024 Stanley Cup finals only to learn they wouldn’t put on the sound. I was forced to watch it listening to Michael Bolton and Beyoncé. Don’t call yourself a sports bar until you can listen to and enjoy sports at the establishment.

Great food great people great atmosphere. Newer bar but hopefully they can start having ufc fights! Still love this place. The food is great and the owners are awesome. So happy to have a bar like this in the neighborhood. Hopefully they will sponsor a few softball teams!

Chicago’s Coach’s Bar & Grill provides a traditional sports bar atmosphere for people looking for a relaxed place to watch a game or have a few drinks with friends. It draws a broad crowd of sports enthusiasts and locals looking for a laid-back ambiance because it is situated in a busy neighborhood.
I was welcomed by Coach’s Bar & Grill’s bustling atmosphere and many TVs that were showing different sporting events as soon as I walked in. Sports memorabilia, neon signage, and a long bar with lots of seats make up the interior’s classic sports bar design. It’s a casual environment that’s ideal for people looking for a no-frills experience.
