What a great find! Never heard of this place before, but love their slogan, Vermont’s other ice cream! After being a Ben & Jerry’s fan for years, Island was actually better. We had 4 flavors one better than the next. The real standout was the mint n cookies, phenomenal! Awesome young friendly staff too, they really aim to please and encourage you to try many samples. Will definitely be back on my next trip to the Burlington area.

Took my kiddo to try it out for the first time today. The staff were so kind and accommodating, patiently naming every flavor my child asked about, and letting them try the flavors, too. My kid LOVED the peppermint ice cream and I’m definitely going back for more of their grapefruit sorbet! We’ve found our new favorite scoop shop!

Cute shop with fantastic ice cream flavors, plus sandwiches, soups, and extra friendly employees! I’ve marked this one on my map for my next trip through Vermont, it’s sure to be regular stop from now on!

Delicious (lunch and breakfast) sandwiches, soup and ice cream! I had no idea there was a little cafè hidden inside. Hopefully they will post a bigger sign outside so more people will know what a cute cafè is tucked away inside this delicious ice cream shop.

I’m upset I drove by this place and never stopped for so long. The food is incredible and the ice cream is too. The staff are all super nice and I hope they have enough foot traffic to stick around for a long time.
I’m not sure if it was the owner I was talking to about cleaning salt off laminate floors but what you all need is a steam mop. A steam mop + vinegar would make short work of the salt that accumulates in the winter months.
It’s worth the stop and it feels better to support local ice cream and not Unilever.

Great ice cream selections and great vibes. Had the strawberry milkshake and it was pretty good. Lots of good seating and friendly staff.

Had simple chocolate chip. Ice was excellent. My only critique is that I would display the names of the ice cream in the case or offer a paper menu so one could decide while in line. I could figure out most but some were a mystery. Price point feels higher than it should be. Maybe I just haven’t adjusted to the higher prices.

The ice cream is great! Buy a pint for $5.95 and enjoy it in store, on a bench, or in the car. Gives Ben and Jerry’s a run for their money. The service is fast and friendly. The table space is relaxed.

If you have lived in Vermont long enough, you know the importance of finding a good cafe that serves delicious food and has a great ambience. We had a wonderful experience in this hidden gem of a place, I was initially not sure what to expect as the name focuses on ice-cream which was absolutely amazing, we left with few different flavors. But we also enjoyed grilled cheese croissants, these were cooked to perfection. I had a grilled cheese croissant with swiss cheese and eggs in it..oh my God..just heavenly. My wife had her grilled cheese croissant with caramlized apples and bacon crumbles..she loved it! We also had jerk chicken soup with our croissants, steamy, slightly spicy..yummy. Then we got raspberry muffins with nuts..this place doesn’t fail to impress you. The owner stopped by and said hello to us..what a sweet and friendly person to meet, he was courteous and making sure everyone was enjoying their food..now that says a lot about why this place is so amazing. Definitely check it out…it’s right off of Williston Road, we will definitely be back.

I have stopped in here for lunch twice. These people are so nice, and the bonus is the great food. One of my new go to for lunch. I haven’t tried the ice cream, but the cookies and 3 berry muffin is excellent.
