I live in Tomahawk but work in Merrill, having tried many of the great pizza places in Tomahawk I wanted to try what Merrill had so I gave Hugo’s a try. Staff was very friendly I’ll give them that but the pepperoni pizza I ordered was way short of pepperoni counting more than 18 spots void of where another slice could have gone, pepperoni was under cooked as I was looking for a nice cup and char. The cheese pizza could also have had a few more minuets to cook as the crust was under done. Both pizzas were very greasy. See the picture, boxes are swimming in grease, probably from the cheese. I called in my order at 3:30 pm and was told it would be ready at 4:00pm. Didn’t get it until 4:15pm.

Colleen is the best pizza maker around! She always tries her hardest, puts in the smallest details. She gives out more than she receives. She is the nicest lady, I have never ever had a hard time ordering from her pizza shop, they are always timely.
The food is amazing, I would never go to any other pizza place. I never had a bad slice of pizza from her. The cheesy bread is excellent and melts in your mouth. Overall just an excellent place and super kind employees!

A very good place for pizza. The lasagna is good also. Salads are basic but always fresh and prices are fair. What makes Hugo’s stand out for me is the people who work there. Always friendly, respectful and smiling. You will leave feeling better than before you get there. That kind of service is a rarity lately. They offer dine in and a nice drive thru option for picking up carry out orders. Thumbs up for this very nice local establishment.

We are from out of town and just googled pizza places in Merrill ,WI. Hugo’s sounded good. Cute place you call to order and drive up to pick up. The girl working was so nice and the pizza was awesome. Plenty of sauce ,veges and sausage. Crust was fantastic. If your ever in Merril you need to check it out!

I love this place! I’ve been here two weeks in a row and I’m looking forward to many more visits. The pizza is thin crust and delicious. The toppings (and garden salad) have been fresh. The service has been so friendly. I cannot say enough good things.

Awesome place. I came to visit here from Indiana and I am absolutely jealous of this city to have access to such good pizza. I had a hunter’s and a cowboy pizza along with two others and a salad and it was all amazing. Will be returning for the amazing and friendly service staff and for the delicious pizza the chef makes. 10/10 price was more than fair for the quality.
