Great place for simple, home-cooked Korean food. Feels like Im eating in my grandmother’s kitchen. Not cheap but give generous portions. Friendly and attentive service. Also has prepared side dishes for sale. Bought a bag of their frozen dumplings

There was not much to praise about the interior. The furnishings are plain and simple. The furniture is clean and well-maintained. It also makes me feel at ease especially first time coming here.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to adjust my original entree order of their yook gae jang to bool go gi dup bob. The thin, tender slices of beef were combined with mushrooms, scallions, and white onions. Its flavor is weak, but its texture is perfect. Luckily, a complimentary tiny side dish was included to go with the meal. I liked that it gave the bland beef more taste. Since the side dishes are provided at no cost, feel free to ask for a refill. It came with a mildly flavored soup on the side to wash it down.

The food was served hot at my table, which I appreciated, and the service was prompt. Although they could do better at paying attention, the personnel was polite. Although the food is average, the price is affordable. I hope to return and sample more of their dishes. It doesn’t seem like the food I ordered did justice and that’s why I want to give them a second chance. Thank you for the meal.

Really tasty! The prices aren’t cheap but very reasonable for what they give you. Friendly server and glad to have descriptions on the menu. Great hot tea and kimchi with the meal as well. Will be back

Restaurant had distinctive odor; menu listed too many variety for a place to have its own speciality.
server (more likely owner) brought side dishes with main and didn’t see kimchi so when asked, she pointed to leafy green that looked like steamed not bak-kimchi.
She insisted leafy green ‘bak-kimchi’ goes well with ordered army stew.
Food (main+side dishes) were not photo worthy to be taken & shared and cannot understand restaurant’s 4.2 rating

Cozy Korean restaurant. Big House in Korean means something like older relative’s house. The menu has items you would find at family gatherings. Looking forward to coming back.

As I began to eat, my initial impression was that I would be rating this place three stars. This place is by no means bad, nor is that to say that the food is not good, it is just that I have been to other Korean restaurants in the area that really wow me. Here, the food is what you would expect it to be. Simple, familiar, filling and even nostalgic. It’s like eating a home made meal. Obviously I have rated this restaurant four stars, so why the change of heart you may ask? That’s because there was one dish that was phenomenal! As soon as I took a bite, I was hooked. My mouth was filled with a surprising amount of flavors that was accompanied by the perfect texture. The dish that blew me away was the tofu. Interestingly enough, tofu was not my main dish. Rather, it is one of the side dishes that you normally receive at a Korean restaurant. The tofu alone was amazing enough for me to give this place four stars instead of three. I would sincerely go back to this place just to eat that marvelously cooked tofu. It is a must try in my opinion.

Cozy and good comforting korean food. One of those place that’s been around for long time and it feels like home when you walk in with everything always changing but this place remains same.

First time probably the last. Korean pancake was not cooked all the way and very little flavor. My wife had spicy octopus a little rubbery and I had spicy pork without lettuce which I really enjoy with pork. Came recommended by a friend. ..?????

Best Korean food I’ve ever had! We drive out from the city just to eat here. They give you a bunch of side dishes with your meal too. Try them all! I’ve tried so many delicious, strange things here.
