I just wanted to give a review and shout out to Bacaro Italian Tavern in Massapequa Park. I just did my son’s graduation party here today and everything was absolutely amazing! All my guests constantly complimented how delicious the food was. The staff was very attentive to the guests. They always replaced the drinks and food rapidly. The staff was also very polite and kind. If you are looking to have a celebration for a special occasion, I highly recommend this restaurant. It was closed off just for our private party, since I had 55 guests. They even let me try every dish on the menu that I had chosen for my guests. Beyond 5 stars

What a wonderful experience.. first time here. Good was delicious, staff was pleasant and very helpful. Plenty of parking in the back lot, easy access to the restaurant. Nice variety of foods. Drinks were delicious.

Last weekend I had my baby shower here. Everything ran very smoothly! The staff was great and accommodating to our guests. The food was amazing and all my guests kept complimenting us how great the food was! We loved everything about our baby shower. What an expensive ordinary experience. The italian wedding soup was awful. It was worse than progresso. The chicken parm was good but way overpriced. Service and atmostphere were subpar. I wouldn’t come back here. There are way better options that are cheaper.

While visiting family and friends on Long Island I came here to eat one night. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. The service to great. Atmosphere was great too. The meals were BIG portions, enough that I had leftovers the following night. The food was fresh and perfectly seasoned. It was my friends first time here that is a local and he was impressed how good everything was. I HIGHLY suggest this establishment if you are looking for good eats locally.

I’m a regular at this place. A year ago I would have said this place is 5/5. Few things have changed in the last year. The waiters are hit or miss. There seems to have been some turnover or replacements. Most have been great. Some not so great. The food would come out way quicker from the kitchen even on busier nights. Even on a slow night it feels like it takes over twice as long as it previously did. Any additions requested on a plate seem to have shot up in price drastically for a barely noticeable amount. I’m still generally happy with the place but things have definitely changed in the last year. As someone who frequently comes to the restaurant I’m starting to look for other options in the surrounding area. It’s not the same.

Was visiting family and ate here on their recommendation. WOW! The best Italian food I’ve ever had! Portions are huge and the service from Andrew and the staff was incredible! The eggplant meatballs were my favorite. My wife loved the Sunday Gravy. Highly recommend!

I recently was a guest at a lunchtime family gathering of 75 at Bacaro. It was fantastic and perfect in all aspects. The food was amazing and served by a staff that was well educated in all of the items preparations and ingredients. And the foods themselves were amazing!

Great service, great food, nicely decorated for New Year’s Eve. Our waiter Andrew was so attentive and fun! I started with a Yule mule, and my husband had the Grinch cocktail. Both were delicious. Our dinner was so good starting with the Thai- Italian calamari, Salmon Nero, Chicken Parm, and finished off with Caramel salted cheesecake, Warm apple blossom pie.
