I ordered the shrimp and lobster soup as an appetizer. It was delicious. I ordered the T-bone steak with mashed potatoes and a side salad as my main dish. Mashed potatoes were good, steak had a unique flavor but was a little tough for me. I ordered it medium rare. Salad was like your basic side salad nothing too special. Staff was very friendly and attentive to my needs and it was a beautiful restaurant inside. I’ll definitely will consider going back, maybe trying a different entry next time though.

First off I know this place is new and newly staffed partially. We went on a Tuesday night and waited over an hour! There were tables empty but couldn’t seat people because they didn’t have the staff to accommodate those tables. After we got seated it took several minutes for our waitress to come even speak to us. I was on the verge of just getting up and leaving at this point. Finally waitress came and took our drink order, got the drinks and some bread. (Our waitress was training another waitress, but I swear the girl she was training was more on top of it than she was) Then we put our order in and waited some more. Finally our salads come out and no sooner than we got started on those the rest of our food came out. Now this right here chaps my ass at any restaurant. Do NOT bring salad and food at the same time! Huge pet peeve of mine! Shows that there is some planing issues in the kitchen prep area! I can go to the Morganton Longhorn and it’s spot on every single time! Get it together Lenoir!

So happy to have LongHorn in Lenoir. A real steakhouse. I usually get ribeye and macaroni and cheese. I like the firecracker chicken wraps too. Everyone was aiming to please. Our waitress, Amber, did a good job. We’ll be back, again, after the crowds calm down some.

I took my wife out for a special dinner, and everything exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked steaks, flavorful sides, and great portions.
The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, even with the holiday crowd, and the staff did a fantastic job making our night feel special. Service was attentive, friendly, and efficient.
It turned out to be the perfect Valentine’s dinner. We’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend for a special night out.

I stopped by Tuesday night with my mother, to give her a special night out. She thoroughly enjoyed it! Our steaks were delicious, and we’ll definitely be back. Our wait time was minimal, and our server, Chasidy, was excellent. Her suggestions were very helpful, and all our needs were met and exceeded. We recommend the parmesan crusted fries as an appetizer, but ask for a to-go box because you won’t be able to finish the generous portion size.

We had the pleasure of dining with you guys on Friday night. Everything was beyond fantastic. From the online checking in to the taste of our food it was truly an amazing dining experience. Our server axle was extremely hospitable and very attentive. We all ordered ribs they literally fell apart as I went to put them in the leftover box. Fall off the bone good. Keep up the great work and keep hiring coworkers like Axle. I hope he’s our server every time we come.

Arrived telling the hostess that we were joining a party of 2 who were already there as the server was taking their order as we arrived. It was about 10 minutes before we were acknowledged and asked what we wanted to drink and received menus. It wasn’t until the first party received their food that we got our drinks. We placed our order and started with salads without utensils. First party had extra forks so we could eat. I stopped the server to ask for a napkin is when we received our utensils.
I ordered the $37 steak to my disappointment it was over-cooked and over-seasoned (dry and too salty). I had to stop the server for another drink.
The check came to $92 for 2 people with drinks. I expected it to be expensive but with better quality in the food and service.
That was my first time experience. Will I come back? I believe in second chances so probably.

They have a policy of certain food temps for different items that don’t really work. the stuffed mushrooms are good but not hot enough to keep the cheese stringy and meaty. I had the shrimp and lobster bisque. the flavor was good but the potatoes I the soup were mush, like they had been sitting in water for a long time
No texture to them just mush. The wait staff are very accommodating and nice but the food soso. This was my second try. Won’t be a third. Good staff doesn’t make up for substandard food.

We had a delicious meal from there. My wife had the parmigiana crusted chicken and I had the cowboy pork chops topped with the crusted parmigiana. The pork was extremely tender and absolutely delicious. The chicken was amazing as always. We are happy that Longhorn opened in Lenoir and it’s very close to home. Joining the waitlist is easy and the wait isn’t that long. Highly recommend this restaurant

12/10/25 First time visit to the new LongHorn steakhouse in Lenoir was nice! We arrived for lunch about 12:25pm on a Wednesday and we were immediately seated. Jayla was their server. Ordered the cheeseburger lunch plate with a loaded baked potato. Hubby had the cheeseburger lunch plate with steamed asparagus. Our entrees (and the complimentary cracked wheat bread) were delicious, and service was excellent. Glad to see this new restaurant getting off to a great start! We will definitely be back soon!
