Rice was old, not cooked the same day, and the meat was chewy and hard. Lunch price was too much compared to compilation and pocket. People were very polite, professional, kind, and friendly. Cooking techniques and temperature were good. It was not a busy place, so the product was not fresh. Will not go back there again.
They were out of baklava and green sauce.

I want to like this place but quality is inconsistent. Several weeks ago chicken kabob, lentil soup and bread were served piping hot and flavorful. Lentil soup was especially outstanding flavor, chicken juicy having enjoyable charcoal flavor and bread was hot. Last night though bread and soup served cold. Chicken and rice were warm but not quite warm enough and chicken was dry. Chopped jalapeño peppers are the only item in my experience that is consistently enjoyable. No frills presentation and service, e.g., styrofoam plates, disposable plastic knives, forks and spoons and bus your own table when finished keeps the menu pricing reasonable but not worthwhile value in my opinion with so many inconsistencies. Also, restaurant space is room temperature seems to be difficult to regulate. Hot in summer and cold in winter. seems as though Tigris has much more carry out business than dine in. Could be because of uncomfortable room temperature.

The food was pretty bad. First, the falafel had a shell that was extremely hard to break and the inside was almost a play dough consistency. Also, the outside was burnt. By far the worse falafel I’ve had so far. The kabob was the wrong one, also quite unappetizing. The food was packaged for delivery in a plastic shopping bag, untied and unsealed in any way. The driver could have come into contact with the food, either Intentionally or not, it could have flew out of the bag ect… ended up throwing everything out after trying it.

The taste was not as it used to be. Plus in every restaurant u get rice plus salad and a choice of side, not here, u get 2sides, it can be 2 of these 4 rice, soup, chick peas or salad.,

Food was delicious! I got the falafel platter and hummus and it was so good. The hummus was my favorite! It’s all run by one man and he made everything fresh for me. We had pleasant conversation while I ate there. He is a very nice man and I will happily go again to try the kabobs!

This place is a frequent stop for take-out dinner. I’ve never had a bad meal here, in years of being a customer. Yes, the kabobs, rice and trimmings are excellent. The Middle-Eastern food is delicious, plentiful and prices are very fair for what you get. But the real hidden gem is the hamburgers—–you might not go to a Grill & Kabob restaurant for a a cheeseburger, but they are, simply put, the best burgers in the DC area. High quality, charbroiled beef, juicy on the inside. A press is used to leave the bun warm and toasty—-cheese melted perfectly. The French Fries are good too. Chicken tenders, also worth trying. And yes, we can’t forget the kabobs and rice. The man uses high quality ingredients and prepares his dishes with pride and care. I notice he has a lot of frequent customers, and it’s easy to see why that is.

I would highly recommend this place! I ordered the Iraqi beef kabob platter with rice and chickpeas. The serving size was perfect and everything tasted very authentic and was delicious! The owner was very kind and prepared our food quickly. Great place to grab a bite to eat! I started digging in and totally forgot to take a picture! But it was great!

The owner was on the premises, very attentive man, very friendly and he let us tried a great lentil soup, it was really tasty! He explained that he only uses fresh meat and fresh vegetables.
The sir at the register answered all our questions and gave us the best recommendations.
We had the hummus (prepared at that second), chicken kabob (very juicy meat), and the Lebanese kabob (super tasty!!!)
The prices are very good, you should definitely go and check it out!
