I normally love this spot but the quality of goods has gone down significantly. I picked up an assortment of pastries and out of the five pastries; the strawberry shortcake was completely inedible. The strawberries look extremely old, parts of it are growing mold and it looks wrinkly. I took a picture of the pastry next to a freshly cut strawberry in my kitchen for reference. This could make someone severely sick so please double check and replenish your pastries daily.

A taste of Italy for sure! This bakery had such a friendly staff and really nice atmosphere I ordered my daughter’s birthday cake also with pastries and cookies which all of my guest still can not stop talking about how fresh all the desserts were! Of course I had to bring home some of their fresh breads from their bread wall that looks amazing and sure of enough it was a 10/10 plus had the best prosciutto bread! On the way out I did have an iced coffee which I loved!

I asked for a butter roll and I’m Portuguese and we are known to have a butter roll in the morning so I went to try out bake in summit here and I asked for a butter roll and she said sure I didn’t pay attention to when she was getting the bread nor preparing the butter roll . She puts it in the bag and says here you go all set . I get to my car and this is what I got !!! This little Micky mouse piece of bread that you can eat with one bite. This is pathetic!!!!! The have to do better then this. what the heck am I supposed to do with this won’t even fill me up . Can’t believe this was 2 dollars should be 50 cents it’s not even half of a regular size roll this is a mini roll !! Just wow 1st and last time for that .

I ordered a Napoleon cake, cookies with a Beatles theme and cake pops for my husbands 65th birthday and everything was both beautiful and absolutely delicious. I will definitely be ordering from BAKE again.

Do not order cakes online. What a wild experience. I ordered a cake at 1:30pm on October 1 for pickup October 2nd 8:30am so I could get it before work. I got an email confirmation from Bake on my order. At 8:20am on Oct 2 as I’m leaving the house to pick it up they call me and say they don’t have the cake I ordered and paid for. So I swap it for a different vanilla cake.
I arrive at 8:40am and the cake isn’t ready. The cake comes out at 8:45 and it’s a blood red hideous cake which makes no sense for a vanilla cake… they take another 10 minutes trying to box it. So now it’s 8:55 and I expressed how upset I was with the cake, and instead of apologizing the very first thing out of the woman’s mouth was “WHY DIDNT YOU SAY SOMETHING WHEN WE WERE BOXING IT” and I mentioned that I am already late for work and didn’t think there was time to swap it (I didn’t know it would take an entire 10 minutes for them to figure out how to box a cake). She offered to swap cakes but I was already late for work.
I expressed that I ordered the cake the day before and should have been contacted earlier, and in response the woman literally blamed me for ordering on their website. She said I should have called because their website isn’t always accurate. So this is my fault. … I will let you be the judge on whether you think that’s an appropriate response. At one point i asked her to consider if she was in my shoes how she would feel with this treatment and response.
Anyway, I love Bake in general but this experience was wild. I cannot imagine blaming a customer for using my company’s website to make an order.

I’ve been here a couple times, and I can safely say I have never been left disappointed. The prosciutto bread is always fresh and to die for! The older woman who helped me out was very kind and patient with the amount of questions I wanted to ask about everything. I also had the sour dough bread, and I have not found any sour dough better in the area! It was fresh and warm when I got it in the morning. Safe to say they have earned themselves a regular customer.

Highly recommend. Everything looks incredible. Just as good as anything I had in Paris. I got the chocolate strawberry croissant. Delicious. This is the first place here that greeted me quickly when I walked in, so that helps too.

Super cute Bakeshop in Downtown Summit!! Everything smells amazing the moment you step in. Pastries, cakes, and sweet treats all look so lovely and taste equally delicious. I tried their cannoli, blueberry cheesecake, chocolate chip cookies as well as shortbread cookies (all delicious & not too sweet!) My friend also enjoyed her Tiramisu.
They have fresh bread and a plethora of sweet treats. The staff is extremely friendly and patient. We ordered some treats to eat there and some to-go. There are about 8 seats for dine-in.
My one comment would be if they can label some of their items as I had trouble figuring out what some dishes were. However, I went super early on a Monday so perhaps they were still setting up for the day. The staff was super patient with all my questions

I have come here every Sunday for the last five months. Everything tastes really good. Extremely expensive but everything looks pretty if you’re buying the premade cakes and desserts, but don’t try to order something. I ordered over the phone. I was very specific. I got there to pick it up. It was completely wrong so I asked them to redo it. Went back again, still not right. It was one of the ugliest cakes I’ve ever seen. They put me on the phone with the owner who was extremely rude would not let me speak insinuated that I didn’t have enough money for the design that I asked for one money is not an object, but that’s none of his business. He didn’t let me get a word in when I was trying to explain calmly and nicely what I had said to the girl on the phone, he wouldn’t let me speak. I will never ever step foot in that bakery again extremely rude evidently I’m not the only one that’s had this issue with the owner for ordering because two people one caught me outside and one said it inside that they have had issues and the owner is very condescending so if you want to pay for overpriced cake, that’s probably not gonna come out correctly, go ahead and order.
