Went for a dinner to co-celebrate birthdays. Staff was lovely, friendly and attentive. Ambience was calm, refined and relaxing – a true cocktail lounge with great food options. We had the lam and chicken starters and then short ribs and duck for our main plates. Several different cocktails – they were good to modify the drink recipes to accommodate our requests. I would recommend for date night, celebration or spot for a great cocktail. Bit of a hidden gem as nothing is really close by.

Popped in here for a drink with some friends and enjoyed an evening out. Helpful friendly staff. And the food looked delicious and we did not stay but we were definitely planning on coming back. We came in early or in the evening and did not have a reservation and were able to be seated. Only a small group of four. Is starting to fill up as we were leaving. Not a lot of parking. We had to find street parking that was longer that 1 hour. Grade selection of cocktails, wines and beer. The rooftop terrace or balcony has heaters. I think you’ll be able to sit out here even in the fall and spring.

I went to Lala Social House on a whim this Saturday and had a fantastic experience! My friend and I were looking for a good, not-too-expensive place to eat, and this fit the bill better than we could have expected. We both got two apps/small plates – I had the whipped ricotta and the oysters and my friend had the beef carpaccio and the fries with smoked paprika. Big props to our waitress, Leah, not only for her consistently great service but also for the recommendation to get the oysters, as they were truly some of the best I have ever had!!

Lala Social House is an absolute gem! The ambience was warm, cozy, and inviting – perfect for a relaxed Sunday brunch with my girlfriends. The staff was incredibly polite and attentive, making sure we had a great experience.
Now, the food—simply amazing! I had the fried chicken and waffles with hot honey – crispy, flavorful, and just the right balance of sweet and spicy. Everyone at the table loved their dishes, and the portions were generous.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great brunch spot with fantastic food and a welcoming atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!

We went to Lala Social for drinks and to try some food, but overall it was a disappointment.
The Chicken Katsu Skewers were far too oily, and the sauce didn’t pair well with them. The Shimeji Mushroom Skewers were also underwhelming, with very little flavour. The Coal Fired Trout was probably the best dish we had — nicely cooked, though it really could have used a sauce to elevate it. The Dungeness crab pasta was fine, nothing special but decent enough. Dessert, however, was another letdown — the sorbet tasted thin and watery rather than refreshing.
Unfortunately, while the atmosphere was nice for a drink, the food left us unimpressed.

We dined here Saturday night. I will admit I made the reservation midday Saturday. Table for two. Booked. We were seated on the opposite side of the wall from the main dining room. All tables but ours (on our side) were for larger groups; there was one large group just finishing as we were seated. One they left there was no one on our side of the restaurant. We also had the coat rack set up right behind our small table. So every single per patron side eyed us sitting alone in an empty part of the dining room. It would be wise to not offer this table at all…. We will not be back here any time soon simply based on how this seating made us feel.

we recently hosted my moms 50th birthday party at lala and it was definitely the best choice. jess our server was amazing and always was around bringing us drinks and food catering to our every needs. there was so many people there i was very impressed with the impeccable level of service. the food and service was top notch and couldn’t have been any better! 10/10

I had the braised beef eggs Benedict and the hot honey fried chicken & waffles—and I genuinely considered kissing the chef. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, eggs perfectly poached, and that fried chicken? Crunchy, juicy, spicy-sweet magic.
This isn’t just brunch—it’s a full-on experience. I’ll be back, probably in velvet.

Host your events here!!! We had our company Christmas party here and everyone was so thrilled with their experience. The staff here was not only very professional but also kind and patient. The food and drinks were also fantastic, there was not a single complaint about the whole experience. Shout out to Amie for helping coordinate the whole event. If you’re considering this spot for an event or a nice lunch/dinner date, you won’t regret it!
