Aloha!! Tuimato Hawaiian BBQ is a small family run food truck. We Marinate our meats 24 hours before cooking and grilling sure to give you a mouthwatering experience. Our Mac Salad is made with aloha from start to finish. Come out and have a cold beverage at the growler guys and try out our Hawaiian BBQ, our family comes from O’ahu. OMG! I’ve never had poke before but I will be going back as MUCH AS POSSIBLE! Not only is the food affordable, but the owners are super nice and the food has always tasted fresh. One of my friends swore that his favourite place to get this style of food was in PDX, but he changed his mind SO QUICKLY after eating here and I’m very inclined to believe him!

I’ve worked at a couple different Hawaiian restaurants in my life, so I’m a little bit picky about my grindz This was some of the best Hawaiian food I have food state-side. It rivals any restaurant in the big cities. We got the biggest platter with all four of the meat options, plus a Poke Bowl. Everything was excellent! Best Poke I’ve had in years. The Mac Salad is perfection. The Ribs and Beef and Teriyaki Chicken are all next level. Kalua Pork was on point! And their beverages were ice cold, great selection, great prices, awesome portions. And we loved the music they played. Nice clean covered heated sit-down area. This place is a whole vibe and we will probably be back every Sunday because so many other places are closed around here on Sundays and Mondays. My daughter said it was the best food she’s ever had! We left stuffed and happy and with a BUNCH of leftovers! If I could give more stars, I would. Love!!

An absolute gem on the coast — you really can’t beat it! This Hawaiian food truck serves up a true taste of paradise in Oregon. The food was on point — full of authentic island flavor that hits just right. The raw fish was phenomenal — so fresh, tender, and perfectly seasoned. On top of the amazing food, the owner and his daughter were incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can feel the aloha in both the food and the service. We came here last week, and it was so ridiculously good that we had to come back a second time just to confirm it wasn’t a delicious fever dream. (Spoiler: it’s even better the second time!)
We tried the short ribs, chicken, and beef — every bite was juicy, smoky, and chef’s kiss perfection. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, the owner handed us some poke that was so ono it deserves its own standing ovation.
The vibes are warm and welcoming, the food is next-level, and the portions? Let’s just say you will leave both stuffed and already planning your next visit.

My wife & I stopped here on our way to and from Cannon Beach. This is the best short ribs I’ve ever had. The service was great, extremely friendly and always smiling. Pretty cool location as well, with lots of seating, good music and a gas fire pit to enjoy. I highly recommend stopping here. I will make sure to stop here every time we pass through Astoria.
