This is NOT the place it was 7 years ago. All of the photos on google are from 7 years ago, long story short: it’s just a gas station now. Changed owners recently, they wouldn’t pay the staff for the extra time in the morning for prep, so IF there is someone there who can cook, you’ll have quite the wait to look forward to. But I wouldn’t let yourself get that far if I were you, it desperately needs cleaning and the quality of the food is questionable at best.

So we weren’t sure what to expect, because this little place isn’t trying to be fancy… however: the food is fresh. The catfish, just like everyone says, is *absolutely perfect*. Meatloaf was very good. The two hot bars plus a chilled salad dessert bar are definitely a decent value for your $7.99 weeknight dinner. (Drinks 99cents extra, -my father loved the good, hot coffee). The service was also super friendly and terrific- even though they’d never seen us before. If you’re in a mood for hot home cooked food, come as you are & eat off disposable plates and utensils, you’ll love this place. We’re coming back and going to order off the menu next time.

Yikes! I usually don’t go for gas station food, but will definitely never even stop in the parking lot of this place. Take whatever reviews with a grain of salt. This place needs a lot of help. Cleaning is highly recommended.

This was the best burger I’ve ever had! we are from Stl MO. and this was crazy good! Our checker was super nice, the food was out quick, and it was cozy in side from a cold night. traveling or local hit him up please! you will not regret it

There was a hole in the roof in the only bathroom (1 seater). Water was all over the floor from the previous night’s rain. I had to ask for toilet paper. When I said there was water all over the floor, the proprietor said, “Oh, that must be from the hole in the roof.” She didn’t even attempt to get a mop and clean it up. No AC inside the market. Also, you had to deposit toilet paper in the trash. Not the toilet. Yuck!

Don’t be fooled by the photos of the buffet. It’s no longer there. There are places to sit and eat, but it looks like you order regular gas station food stuff. I can’t speak to the taste of the food, as we left to find another place to eat. The food may or may not be good, the info on this place just needs to be updated. The buffet photos were from 5 years ago.

Great food served up by friendly folks! I’ve never had a disappointing experience here. I usually order pizza or a burger (best in town!) but the meatloaf and grilled chicken are also fantastic. Definitely not a place you want to pass up!
